  1. Hi!

I've used UR Comped previously for comped sailings on Celebrity. My cabin mate and I both were provided a complementary classic beverage pack and basic internet.

Now as UR Comped can no longer offer free drink package and wifi, I've booked directly through Blue Chip. I am

currently Sapphire, earned approx 10k points last cruise. I can't get a straight answer out of Blue Chip.I know currently

Sapphire members get a free classic beverage package and free wifi.

Could anyone current Sapphire advise whether or not your cabin mate gets the complementary classic beverage

    as well?

If not, does Celebrity force them to purchase one to get mine added on my account?

Is there anyway to have added the classic drink package added pre board and take advantage of upgrade sales offered online?

Thanks in advance! Hoping they won't pull the classic drinks from us Sapphire when the inevitable merger with Casino Royale happens.

  2. We are excited to be sailing Aqua class on the Ascent December 23.

First time in Aqua class and we are wondering if the daily water service is only the canned water provided in the classic beverage package?

We have classic beverage and I do wish premium water was included. Just wondering if other options are included in the daily water service provided

    with Aqua class.

I was having this problem also - there are several threads here that indicate MANY have been having this problem.

Log into RCCL -- go to your profile -- erase your C&A number, and then re-type it in again and then save.

Took me a few tries to realize I didn't need to save a blank space but to just re-type it in and save.

    That should do the trick.

Thank you! Did the trick. We are diamond after our next cruise and we recently booked Celebrity- chaos for RoyaI IT-LOL.

  4. Thank you all!   Yes, I will call and speak to Celebrity agent when we return home from the Royal cruise.

My info on Elite benefits are from the Celebrity website- so unsure what current situation is as Celebrity

is on a chopping cycle it seems. From Celebrity website, it claims the following perks. We booked a classic drink package and internet when we booked last year. I was under- maybe false impression- we would be upgraded when we reached Diamond on Royal as it's equal to Elite on Celebrity?

    Elite

    Featured Benefits

    • Access to exclusive daily coffee house-style breakfast and Evening Cocktail Hour
    • 30% off Wi-Fi package or Wi-Fi upgrade
    • 15% off Drink Package or upgrade to Premium pre-cruise
    • Complimentary access to Persian Garden (on one port day)
    • One complimentary bag of laundry (wash, dry, fold) on every sailing
  5. We will be Diamond after our next cruise with Royal. We are trying Celebrity 7 days later.

If I understand, Celebrity matches Royal Diamond at Elite.

The perks are great as they will upgrade from classic beverage to premium beverage gratis.

I read that  it takes 10 days post sailing for status to take effect.

Any advice to have this happen to use the match benefit with Celebrity? Should I work this with customer service with Royal or Celebrity? Thanks for thoughts and advice.

There is a Marriott at the IAH airport. Not too expensive. We are staying there the night before and then taking cruise ship transfers to the ship.

Thanks, but we're flying into HOU. Appreciate the info!

"Hi! We are on Allure in March and we have never been to Texas. Interested in opinions on hotels near terminal vs HOU airport."

  7. Hi all and thanks in advance for helping.

We booked a grand suite on Mariner for a December 5 night cruise to celebrate our 21st anniversary. Making up for Covid restricted 20th.

Besides the extra reward point each night and in suite dining off mdr menu, are there any other ship benefits at this level (sky suites on newer ships)?

Is there any special dining in place of coastal kitchens?

We are generally balcony level but decided to splurge for this one... Now looking at amenities on other ships, I wonder if we should have booked a jr. suite

    Thanks!

    Janet

  8. Yes, I had put down cash and brought cash. I don't like gambling on credit and was trying to make sure I behaved. I pre purchased 1k in onboard credit, brought cash to gamble with planning on using on board credit as a backup. I had to put 300 down in cash as well. Day 5 I used up my cash and wanted to use my prepaid on board credit. Casino was getting 3% because my level is not high enough. I had to put down a credit card which they pulled another 500 hold so I could use the prepaid 1k to gamble. How is that NOT stupid- except on my part for doing this:rolleyes:

  9. Yep- similar issue on Epic in Cavern Club. 2 very ditzy drunk chicks hanging onto any male doing the 'accidental" boob check. Hubby was laughing and refused their offer of ordering either of them drinks. Other guys fell victim of these morons! Funny thing is they weren't young or even cute. I felt embarrassed for them.:o

  10. I too have MS and so glad my disease is under control so I have good days where I can walk and stand. I hope my "good" day is not an affront to you Bonzo!

The next day I may pay dearly and not be able to move. Thankfully we have your type as the "handicapped" police. Funny, it seems you have a pretty severe disability with EMPATHY. I try not to use resources when I don't need to, but the gall of examining passengers and judging them based on your opinion galls me.
