Ok...Thanks. We don't cruise till December. Hopefully someone does this between now and then and can share updated info.
We did this in Sept 2023. They picked us up at port and it wasn't raining, but the walk is short(5ish minutes). There is the guided bus to falls, candy, falls, & market. We got off at market & walked around then caught another bus to the office. We got on the beach bus and there are worries getting back to ship, unless you don't watch the time. It's up to you to catch the bus back to the port.

Flying into Gatwick in July, landing at 11:45. Debating car service vs train to get to Southampton. Embarkation isn't until the following day.
We're also flying into Gatwick in July and taking the train, as long as they don't have a rail strike. Luckily, they let people know ahead of time. Last year we missed a strike by one day.

Arriving on TA from NYC to Southampton on May 12, 2024. Planning on using National Express bus to London. How do I get from pier to bus station? Do I need to prebook bus or can I just get to bus station and catch next bus?
We used bus last year and just walked-up and bought tickets for 2 of us. We took a cab from port.
Once we arrived in London we walked to Victoria train station, dropped off luggage at 'Left Luggage' and boarded a Hop On Hop Off to see London.

I didn't notice, we were busy looking for the trolley stop. I'm sure they have them at the port, which is across the street from ABC store & Courtyard Hotel.
There is a Hop On Hop Off, I think it is $39.

The trolley is running and it is free. Route map is easily found online.
Walk to end of pier after getting off tender, go across the small parking area and there is an ABC store on the corner of the hotel. There is a walkway in front of it to the street and that is where the trolley stops. You’ll see a “Trolley Stop” sign on the post. It goes along Ali’i Drive right along the shore to the Keauhou shopping area where it turns around and heads back. It stops at 2 popular beaches, Magic Sands Beach and Kahalu’u Beach which is popular for snorkeling.
Directly across the street from the ABC store is another stop for it going the other direction. It heads inland there and then along Route 11 or Queen Ka’ahumanu Hwy to the Kona Commons Shopping Center and stops by the Dairy Queen (again there is a sign and if you’re there the trolley is easily visible as it approaches) before crossing the street to stop by the Target before heading back towards the pier.
It does a continuous loop taking about 1 hour. I have heard talk about the addition of a second trolley but don’t think that has happened. On cruise ship days I have seen a long line for it by the ABC store. If that happens and you see it going the other less popular direction get on it and grab a seat as you can stay on it as long as you wish.
Just visited in October, there was only one trolley and the driver(who was very nice)was asking people if they were from a cruise ship. He was picking-up only 10 cruisers at a time at the ABC stop and wouldn't allow cruisers at the next stop to get on. We were headed toward the direction of the beaches.
When we were done at the beaches we boarded the trolley and headed back toward town, the driver stopped in town and said all cruisers needed to exit.
I'm not sure if it was just this driver or company policy, he mentioned that he needed to keep seats available for the locals to get around, which I understand.

*****!? Last time I checked, your own private towncar between Seattle and Vancouver only cost $400! Cruise transfers used to be priced only a little more than QuickShuttle, US$79-99 for years - the problem was that they didn't always run rather than that they were pricey! Even if car rental prices are still much higher than pre-Covid, you should easily find a one-way car for less; Amtrak Saver tickets remain $34pp if you book before they sell out; Greyhound/Flix are sometimes even cheaper than that!
Sorry, it's $316 roundtrip for 2, $79 one way each. Boy, did I mess-up!!!!

Thanks for all the info!!!!
I found out today (March 6, 2023), a Princess cruise transfer from SEA to Vancouver port for 2 people costs $318.
I'm checking other options.

My husband and I stayed in a new cabin D727, aft. He was bothered by vibration not me.
The shower was slightly bigger with shelf. It has a great view, blockage to the left but clear to right and back.
