We left Miami in March 2023 and arrived in Trieste 23 days later.  We were one of the first to exit the ship around 8:00 AM although it did take about 30 minutes for the luggage to arrive.  Short walk from ship to taxis.  We caught a taxi quickly to the train station where we took the train to Venice.  We had rented a car from Avis which was a short walk from the train station and all went smoother than we thought it would.  

I enjoy the cookies on Oceania, especially the cranberry ones.  I agree they aren’t super sweet but everyone has different tastes. 

The port is Barcelona and we are arriving there 2 days prior to departure. We are anxious to board and explore the ship but don't want to wait in long lines if we are standing out in the heat. Just wondering how long the process takes

We are leaving on our first cruise in a week on the Riviera. Our embarkation time is at noon. We would like to know how crowded it will be and how long is the boarding process. Should we show up at noon, before noon, or later? We don't want to stand in a long line in the heat.

Is it customary to tip besides the customary 18% service charge they automatically add to everything? And if so, do you tip at the end of the cruise?

We are first time Oceania cruisers and we're wondering about the beverage packages. We are deciding if we should purchase a package and if so which one. We are wine drinkers and wondering about the quality of the wines offered in these packages.
