Thanks one and all! The one we have will last a couple weeks but we are on a 28 day cruise after visiting the Grand Canyon. So it will need to be charged a few times. Can’t hardly wait!

Thanks so much for the quick reply!

I have read that the electric outlet in the bathroom is only for shavers. Can you also plug an electric toothbrush in it? Don’t want to blow a fuse, so I thought I’d better ask.
Thanks,
Tammy

Thanks so much.
One thing I’m really curious about is that the AAA woman near us is from that area and she said to avoid 47 from Long Bach to San Pedro. On the other hand an old (2010) message out here said to go that way. It sure looks easy to me to get off the 1 a 2nd street go to Ocean and then to 47. Is that the way I should go?
Thanks, Tammy

Hi there! We are traveling through El Centro (husband wants to see the base again) to San Pedro. We want to take Hwy 1 from Dana Point. Can someone help with the best way to do this? Don’t know where construction is so I figured we would ask someone from that area. We will be driving it on Monday 10/22 if that makes a difference.
Thanks, Tammy

Sounds like you had a great time! We are counting the days for our October 23 cruise and meeting new friends!
There is a pretty active roll call, you should join in. We are really looking forward to this cruise.

There is also one starting Feb 1, 2020

I wouldn’t have a problem with someone taking photos of their food but there is no way I am going to pass around my plate for someone to take a picture of my food. I have seen too many people use the restroom and not wash their hands afterwards.

Thanks so much for the review. We are doing this cruise in October. I was excited before, now I can hardly wait. We love sea days.

Totally awesome cruise. We did it last October. It was amazing. Enjoy your cruise and your anniversary. :)
Thanks so much. My sister and her husband were on your cruise. They loved it. I booked it the first day it was on sale and have been impatiently waiting ever since. Can't hardly stand it, still have 181 days to wait!

We were shocked and thrilled at the price when we received the email. Can’t wait to see the Panama Canal for our 25th anniversary.
Happy 25th! We did the Panama Canal for our 25th also. Had a ball. We are currently booked for 28 day Hawaii & Tahiti for our 40th anniversary a couple months early.

I got lucky. I kept saying I was going to purchase it and I finally did this past Saturday. Hopefully it won’t be a problem later and also hoping they bring it back for everyone. I’m beginning to learn not to hesitate with Princess, they have been changing things a lot lately.

My husband and I are retired and when we were going shopping together I would get dressed and the next thing I know my husband comes out of the closet in the same color shirt. Well this happened a few times and it was driving me crazy. I finally asked him what he was doing. He looked at me kind of funny and finally he said, when we get separated all he has to do is look at his shirt to know what color to look for! :o

My cruise is long, 28 days. My sister did the same cruise this past Oct. and said the majority of the cruisers were platinum or elite. That is why it surprised me that it was labeled sold out on my personalizer.
-
I don’t think it would be worth it to pay for early boarding but my Oct/18 cruise is already sold out for it too.
-
I would like to thank everyone for their responses too. I didn't know there were two types of ice coffee either.
roxievegas......have fun on your trip. I'm assuming you are doing the one this month. I'm doing the 28 day in October. My sister just did the same cruise this past October and had a ball.

Do they do a punch for iced coffee or is that considered regular coffee?

Hi! I never heard of this card. Could someone explain it to me? Thanks in advance.

Hi macleay,
I did switch from S & S to the 3 for free. It lowered what we were originally paying quite a bit, gave us both $150 OBC plus the free gratuities for our Caribe balcony. For us the switch was beneficial since we don't drink a lot.
-
Sorry....it was suppose to say the caribe balconies were just $140 more than a regular balcony. I didn't think that was too bad considering the length of the cruise.
-
I was already booked in a Caribe cabin for our 28 day Hawaiian cruise. I was able to switch from S & S to 3 for free. They had lowered the price of the premium balcony to just $140 more pp for the cruise. I kept our original cabin for a lot less plus received free gratuities and OBC.
-
3 for free worked for us. Premium balcony on our 28 day cruise went down $810 pp. So switched from AIBP (couldn't drink that much anyway). Now have free grats and $150 OBC pp. Hooray!!
-
Hi NavyVeteran,
Thanks so much for the reply. I am currently booked under the sip n sail. Considering the price of the AIBP for a 28 day cruise versus getting free gratuities and $150 pp OBC. I will probably keep my current promo. I really like my current cabin. Thanks again, I'm so glad I joined CC so I can get questions answered.

Hi Navy wife: did you ever find out from someone here or at Princess? Same situation here. :)
Hi! Nope, I never received any replies. I'm booked on a 28 day in Oct 2018. I guess I will call on Sept 5 to find out what my options are.

Thanks so much. We have plenty of time so thought we would drive the PCH to have a great view. I realize it might not be the fastest drive but I have been on it and my DH hasn't. Thought it would be a nice drive versus the main highways.
