This was on Fantasia and your answer was what I hoped I would hear, I would choose a ship that does not do this in future.

It would be good to compile a list of those ships that do and don't.

Funnily enough on Splendida Musica and Seaside there was always a menu on the tables also the buffet option as you say.

never used it for Lunch though as we had more port days than sea days on all three

Worth to add that -as far as I know- not all nationalities can remove the DSC. Actually I am very surprised that MSC allows the Americans to do this.

On American ships the Europeans can remove and the Americans cannot, right?

If the cruise is booked through MSC UK or a UK TA then since june 24th 2019 the DSC is now included in the fare so no one who books this way need to ask for its removal

Does Fantastica experience eat with others in fantastica, or with bella too?  Does each experience get a different dining room?  Is it worth it to go fantastica vs bella?  Sorry, it's my first time and I'm not sure if there are really any benefits to "Fantastica" (we don't really use room service).  I'm currently booked in "Fantastica".

I think Aurea have a separate area on some ships  but apart from that everyone sits together you could have a Fantastica grade sitting at the same table as a Bella

Prescribed medication can be 90 days or even 6 months if you have a prescription.  Most people going to Dubai stay 30 days or less on their visa on arrival.  However, they can renew it for up to 90 days, and use their medications for that period of time.  I don't know any country that limits medication to 30 days.  I always travel with at least a 6 month supply of medications and vitamins.  Everybody traveling aren't vacationers, who only travel a few days to a few weeks.  There are full-time travelers, like myself and world cruisers that are travelling months on end with at least 6 months worth of medications.

For regular medicines yes it's 90 days but if they are listed as controlled then its 30 days if in or transiting through the UAE

    Thanks!

IIRC the Philly flight has an extra stop in London, unless maybe there is a direct flight to Rome that was just so much higher priced I wasnt even looking at it.  Im not against stopping in Philly but Id rather have as few of stops as possible.

Thanks.  I dont recall a RDU-JFK-Rome option when I looked.  I believe there was one that originated in CL, which is only a little further away from us.  But the price for RDU-Detroit-Rome was better (or maybe it was the timing).  I will recheck, specifically on Delta.

not the one i looked at it was 1 stop in philly then direct to rome

Basic economy obviously so you would have to go through the booking process to see the additional bag costa

Most people go for the fun pass which can be used by all in the cabin you only have to buy one fun pass but it is put on to the cruise card of the person who buys it so you will need to go along if someone else in your group wants to use it

Never done Miami on MSC but several on Celebrity. The authorities want a zero count of people on board and everyone had to be off by around 10 am .

MSC are the same a zero count must be given before any one is allowed to board so they want you off by 10.15-10.30
