  1. Does anyone know of any non carnival operators that do the dune buggy tours? I have a child who will be 8 two weeks after our cruise and I'm finding that the age restrictions for most everything that is not a beach day or bus tour is 8 and older. (He's the size of kids much older than him so weight restrictions and height are not a concern of mine, which I know is why those age restrictions exist and are for safety)

If anyone knows of one that is not a carnival tour please let me know! Thank you!

  2. Hubby and I have the entire day while we are in Belize to ourselves. My mom is staying on the ship with our kids. Can anyone recommend an all inclusive in Belize? We are not looking for adventure, or sightseeing. We would like to get drunk, and sit in a lounger, or chair and just enjoy each others company. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you!

  3. We have 4 cabins booked for our next cruise. They each have their own booking number. One of my 2 kids is in another room. We don't have to buy more than 1 package because he will be in the photos do we? Thank you!

  4. You all have been very helpful and I sincerely appreciate the insight! I have one last question that ties into the possibility of our getting the FTTF. With her being Platinum would she be able to wait with us in the FTTF "waiting" area and then board with us in that group? With this being her grand kids first cruise she very much wants to see their faces as soon as we all get on the ship. It's like magic! My grandparents are Diamond with wheel chair assist and will be getting on board before everyone else and can "save a seat" lol!

Thank you again for your help! <3

  5. It's their first cruise so no way is he getting on without me! I'm not going to miss out on the awe and wonder of getting on a huge ship for the first time in my child's eyes! She'll have to board with us novice cruisers with only 5 cruises under our belts. FTTF is sold out! for October already! Thank you again for the replies! :)

  6. He can board with either you or her. Your mom can get her card and join you in the general boarding area. One can always go in general but only those whose boarding passes said "Priority" can enter Priority. If your ship has cards placed outside cabins, then you can all remain together in general boarding area.

    thank you!

  7. My son is booked into her cabin. Does he have to board with her, or can parties be separate and still be sharing a cabin? he is NOT in our room. But we DO have another son in our room (2 total) I would think he would have to board with us regardless of who's cabin he's in, or is that just to get through security and the initial check in? Thank you for the previous responses! :)

They're 4 and 5 years old. Little guys lol! :)

  8. Hello,

We are cruising as a group in October and I have 2 children. I have one in my cabin with my Husband and my other will be in a cabin with my Mother who is Platinum. Because she has my child will I be able to board with her, or will she have to wait and board with me (I'm only gold)?

This was all I could find on minors being in separate rooms.

"Minors traveling with parents in separate staterooms, who qualify for Priority, may check in together. Platinum and Diamond guests may access their staterooms after boarding."

Maybe I'm just missing it. Thank you for any and all help you can provide! :)

  9. Cruising with a 4 and 5 year old. Blue Key seems nice. Are there beach vendors that accost you every 5 seconds for their merch? Basically does this seem like a pretty family friendly beach? Thank you!

  10. Hello! A family member is getting married on a carnival cruise in October and I was hunting for any sub forums on weddings on cruises. I'm posting here because it's on a carnival cruise, but if anyone can direct me to some specific posts, forum, or locations I would really appreciate it! Thank you and have a great one!

  11. The safari buses themselves are not boozy excursions but people off the ship may make them so.

Depending on how many ships are in port all the more popular beaches become more crowded. Magens particularly draws a large cruise ship crowd.

Sapphire is not a larger beach but it usually is not as crowded as Magens.

I can't imagine kids not enjoying any of the VI beaches.

We loved the safari bus tour with Sunny about 9 years ago. I would go again in a heartbeat once the kids are older. I just remember several of the others in our group that had a super fun time, and I don't want my young kids around that yet lol.

We're going to be at Half Moon Cay and have a cabana booked for the day. I just wanted something that wouldn't be as crowded as Megan's Bay. It also seemed Very dirty. But this was 9 years ago and a lot can change.

Thank you for the Ideas. Just looking for kid friendly activities. :)

  12. Any advice or reccemendations for a child friendly excursion for this age group. We're very seriously considering not even getting off the ship because all I can seem to find are the boozey open air bus type private tours. While I would personally enjoy that, Not this time with the kids. Is there a beach that's a bit more kid friendly? I've been to St Thomas before and I did not enjoy Megan's Bay. Too crowded. Is Sapphire Beach larger? Thank you for any advice or recommendations. :D
