I just couldn't pass it up.  It was just SO GOOD!

 

We were SO pleased with our Avalon Waterways experience that we booked a fall cruise on the Rhine upon returning home.  Yes...THAT'S how much we enjoyed our river cruise aboard Avalon!  FWIW...my wife and I are not affiliated with Avalon in any way, not travel agents, not YouTubers, but instead...simply retirees looking for an enjoyable travel experience.  And we darned sure found it here!

We are departing from Vilshofen in August and were wanting to stay the night before our departure in Vilshofen.  Do you have any advice regarding lodging there?

We were in Cuba the end of May. The ship took care of our visa and charged it to our room. We took the advice of friends and simply got off the ship and picked the vintage car we liked, flagged him down and had a FABULOUS two hour tour of Old Havana. The cost was $40 and we tipped him very well. He took us everywhere with a running commentary. It was so much fun!! We spent the other part of our two day stay DIY and were able to see everything easily....we did not plan to see other parts of Cuba, just Havana. We got lots of good info regarding what to see on Tripadvisor . Have fun...we did!

We travel with only carry on luggage and there is always room for my gala dresses and my husband rents a tux so that we don't have to waste room on a jacket and dress shoes. Traveling light is no excuse not to have acceptable or preferable gala attire.
