  1. Hey

I have some flexibility with my work schedule the week of thanksgiving and I was wondering if I wait a week out or so before thanksgiving if prices may go down due to the fact that most people have already booked for that week?

It’s not a big deal if prices go up and I don’t end up booking it....what are people’s experiences with last minute royal Caribbean bookings on holidays?

We have had our full of carnival breeze

  2. Actually there IS a dress code. There are a lot of self absorbed people who feel that rules don't apply to them....the mindset of "Its my vacation and I will do what I want to do. I don't care about the rules, its about ME!!!!"....its actually pretty sad people go thru life this way

    Main Dining Room(s)

Following is the dress code in the Main Dining Room(s) for both men and women and pertains to children as well:

    Cruise Casual Dress Code

    • Men: sport slacks, khakis, Jeans (no cut-offs), dress shorts (long) and collared polo shirts
    • Women: summer dresses, casual skirts, pants, capris, dress shorts, Jeans (no cut-offs) blouses and tops
    • Not permitted: Cut-off Jeans, men’s sleeveless shirts, tee-shirts, gym or basketball shorts, baseball hats, flip-flops and bathing suit attire

    Cruise Elegant Dress Code

    • Men: dress slacks, dress shirts, and we also suggest a sport coat; men may also wish to wear a suit and tie or tuxedo
    • Women: Cocktail dresses, pantsuits, elegant skirts and blouses; ladies may also wish to wear an evening gown
    • Not permitted: Jeans, men’s sleeveless shirts, shorts, tee-shirts, sportswear, gym or basketball shorts, baseball hats, flip-flops and bathing suit attire

I agree with you, we dress nicely and wish Carnival actually enforced the dress code but they don't. You will see twenty men wearing baseball hats at anytime at dinner in the mdr . carnival may state they have a dress code but they NEVER enforce it.

  3. Can't wait for your review. I leave with my 2 daughters 7 and 12 in 40 days. I haven't been on a cruise in 12 years. This is my kiddos first. So excited. What excursions did you do? Any recommendations for things to do with children? We are in a cove balcony. Sushi good? I could ask a 1000 questions. Lol. Hope u had a great time.[/

There are different levels in regards to the camp structures for your children and there is a great water park located in the front of the ship along with two different water slides. We did not eat the sushi, but from what we saw it looked pretty good along with the fact that Bonsai is a busy place. As for excursions, we went to Doctors Cave in Jamaica, Stingray city in Grand Cayman and Nachi resort in Cozumel. Ask away if you have any further questions
