We have yet to sail on a Medallion cruise but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. The balcony cabin on both legs would be a nice surprise. Have you checked for any changes in your Personalizer?

Personalized has two different stateroom assignments but Medallion shows the same stateroom for both legs of the cruise.  🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I read the news release from Carnival Corp. dated Jan. 11th 2021.

I agree with cruzesnooze – the news looks encouraging.

They will have enough cash ($9.5 billion) to cover their cash burn of $600 mil. per month to sustain itself through 2021.

Optimizing the Future Fleet – with the disposal of 19 less efficient ships, 15 of which have already left the fleet.

Advance booking or the first half of 2022 are ahead of 2019 which is encouraging.

What stood out to me:  It had $2.2 billion in customer deposits as of Nov. 30, most of which are future cruise credits (FCC) the company offered in lieu of cash refunds.

Hope that Carnival Corp does not sell Pacific Princess.

I am concerned since it is the oldest ship

in the Princess fleet it’s definitely less efficient along with not having Medallion Class technology.

  3. I did not pay for my cruise in full but did purchase shore excursions.  Upon learning they cancelled my 8/17/20 cruise from NYC to Greenland I went online and cancelled the excursions myself.

Does anyone know if the prepaid excursion refunds be automatically processed since they were cancelled by me thru Princess.com and not manually by an Princess Cruise consultant?

  4. I have had this 16 day cruise to New York City to Greenland (8/17/2020) cruise booked for almost a year.  My original booking price for an interior stateroom was $2300 and Princess dropped the price today to $1149.

Due to the price drop I ended up moving to an obstructed midship ocean view stateroom for only $1323.

I am keeping my fingers crossed this cruise won’t get cancelled since these prices are amazing for a 16 day cruise.  Only time will tell with regards to this or any other post COVID19 cruise.

  5. I have three cruises booked with Princess.  (August 2020 - NYC to Greenland

March 2021 - Back to back Hawaii Tahiti and Mexican Riviera).

I think when Princess returns we will all have our temperatures taken at the time of embarkation.  If you have a high temperature you will not be allowed to board the ship.

I also expect that Princess will revamp Horizon Court where the staff will serve us all the food on the buffet and the self serve water stations will be removed.  In my opinion this  will be a positive change after seeing people, not washing their hand, touching food and place it back on the buffet,  and refilling their own water bottle when there is a sign saying not too.
