  1. Try Havana Beach especially if you like Horseback riding. Best snorkeling is always going to be from either Sandy Bay Beach or West Bay Beach. And if time permits, just go to Paya Bay and chill. Go to Cals restaurant along the way.

  2. Assuming you mean the reef? You can walk down the beach to the west 5 minutes and the reef starts before you are up to your waste in the water. Or swim about 5 minutes out from Beachers. The actual wall is hundreds of feet beyond the reef.

  3. South Shore is as good as it gets on the island for zip line and it's within 3 minutes of the best beach on the island. Hire a driver for 40 bucks to take your Husband to South Shore and continue on to take you to say Beachers on West Bay Beach. Tell the driver you want him to pick your Husband up when he's done at South Shore Zip Line and take him to wherever you decided to go on West Bay Beach. And then have him return for the two of you whenever you need to return. (30 minutes to City Center Coxen Hole or 45 minutes to Mahogany Bay) $40.00 bucks is fair as he will have down time to rest or take other fares while you are ziplining and beaching it.

  4. You owe it to your Wife to try Beachers' Coconut Shrimp. They have a new location in West End as well. I've only had the ones in West Bay where the beach is awesome. I'm curious if they're the biggest and the best she's ever had, ever.

  5. Not to discredit but to clarify, Cal's is an awesome rec except for two things: 1) Carl's Restaurant is not on a beach, but up on one of the highest points on the island with a gorgeous view for miles and miles toward the south west (depends what turns your crank) and 2) he's closed for about the next month for his annual vacation (in case that's when you're here). If the typical honduran baleada is what you're looking for, your driver will have lots of suggestions for that. If you want some great "island food", one suggestion is the coconut shrimp or whole fish at Beachers on West Bay Beach or there are several "island style" restaurants to the east of the cruise ship ports as well that the drivers will know about if that's the direction you want to go.

  6. Good point is all I'm going to say. I did consider recanting some of John Pinette's (my fav comedian RIP John) material, but decided better not. I live near Beachers just down the beach a short walk from Infinity Bay and if you ask around either place for Drummer Dave, they'll point me out. Have an awesome cruise!

  7. Rony is good. Check with him. I would suggest going to South Shore extreme zip line within 3 minutes of Infinity Bay after the sloth hangout and also maybe getting off the ship 1/2 to 1 hour earlier. Don't forget about the difference between ship time and Roatan time.
