I'm not only a former teacher, I'm now on the School Board. I have taken my daughter out of school to travel all through Europe and South America and on many cruises. Ask if your district has an Independent study option. Our district does. What it means is they give him work he can do on the ship. (one time my daughter wrote a journal about our travels and calculated the number of miles we traveled each day, used a map to show where we traveled) when they come back they turn it in, they get credit and the school can claim ADA (average daily attendance) for them. A win/win for everyone:)

I cant remember, are S&S cards magnetic or do they use bar or QR codes? If magnetic will they work? I have only sailed the Breeze and had a touch code version. What type do they have on the Freedom?

I think the prefix is FD for freedom. When I got my confirmation email for chefs table it came from fdsteakhouse@carnival.com.

Great review! We were on the Breeze as well and the lady who fell ill was in the stateroom across the hall from us; pretty sure it wasn't just a broken leg from what we saw (heard it was an aneurysm).

Last week I took my gf to the serenity deck on the breeze late at night and got on one knee.

She said yes.

From what I have read, if you book a suite it basically comes with FTTF, right?

Apologies for the noob post, first cruise in 20 years coming up.

I'm confused by some comments about price drops. . .say I booked at a certain rate and the price for that cruise drops, can I somehow keep my booking and get a better rate?

That seems too good to be true but the only dumb question is the one left unasked, right?

Can these be used to pay for the cruise?
