Thank you, sidari, you are a wealth of information!

Sure is!!

Doesn’t work for me either. Notice it’s a Facebook link. Probably have to be friends in fb

Awesome

Bathroom is separated from bedroom. The bed can be split and the room is very big to add a small blow mattress.
I️ have not seen anywhere where the correct room layout for 11003 or 11002 have been shown. So here is a rough draft of what you get.
Let me know if it’s not clear.

Thank you so much. The rooms are larger then I️ thought!

Seaside room 13002

How do you add pictures? I️ have some from a Facebook posting of the 1 bedroom grand suite

Looking at the ship photos of those Outside GS the balcony does look small, although there is a divider that appears to block off dead space, it may be worth asking to get it opened even though it is within the steel hull.
Great ide!!

We also have a grand suite; I didn't realize people were finding the balcony small. On the video it looks quite generous. Am I missing something?
The only photos and videos are of the 2 bedroom middle grand suites up front. Nothing from the corner front grand suites

I know that the YC interior cabins are a great value and that is why I booked it almost two years ago, getting a discount from an agent that was over the 5% that MSC provides as well as getting 400 in OBC from MSC directly. This was all part of their marketing campaign to promote their first US based ship that was purposely built to cruise the Caribbean. I seriously contemplated cancelling because of the delay of the construction of Ocean Cay. The dedicated YC area and the fact that it would have a 2000 person amphitheater for entertainment were ground breaking ideas that were major factors in causing me to to hop on board in the first place.
If the sun gets to be too much of a problem up on the One deck, I'll just go to the bar and have a libation or two. I've seen posts from a crazy Canadian who sometimes frequents bars on ships. ;)
We got an awesome deal two years ago also from our TA. We had the rear balcony and switched to grand suite a short time later when it became available. Just really disappointed in readying it’s a small balcony
-
I am still excited for our corner grand suit but very disappointed to read small balcony.

Looks like cruisedecks.com has updated their website:
- Double bed that can convert to two singles
- Air conditioning
- Large wardrobe
- Bath with tub
- Interactive TV
- Phone
- Mini bar
- Safe
- The center GS suites have more square footage in both cabin and balcony, but vary in size.
- NOTE: CORNER GRAND SUITES ARE 1 BEDROOM
- Corner Grand Suites have small side balcony and porthole window overlooking bow of ship
-
Looks roomy though. And glad if only a porthole it's in the bedroom vs the living area.
-
Nice. Still can’t wait to see corner grand suites
-
i have photos of the balcony from 11001 and will post them as soon as i can.
😲😲😲😲😘😘😘😘

They look like photos of the 2x2 !
Photo bucket will not let you post photos to a third party unless you pay.

Sorry folks, i give up :)

I still can't believe no pics or videos of 13002.
-
Thanks Sid. I found it odd when I took a closer look at some of the photos I saved included the two above that deck 10 and 14 were missing Portholes.
Isn't it strange that as of today there is not a single real photo of any of the corner GS cabins. Not from any TA, Journalist, Passenger, MSC or Cruise Critic Editor?
Very strange

:):D;)The Deck 9 Fantastica cabins also have Front port holes, the two outer cabins above are Inside wellness cabins, those outer cabins from 12 up do have a Port hole window, and quite some time back I mentioned that there could be a balcony behind it.Having checked out some of my photos of the Front and side ones there may well be a Balcony there.
Agree!!
-
You definitely chose the right Fantastica Suite. As Mike also notes the Portholes do go with 9002 and 9003. By now they have probably also installed the balcony dividers for those front facing suites on deck 9.
Looking at the cabins above yours on deck 10, the corner suites do not appear to have a porthole in the front.
There are port holes above 10. If you look at any pic and zoom in you can see them on the corners

Aurea grand suite 13002. ;p;) Disney cruise has open air port holes rooms. They are called navigate verandahs. Cheaper then reg verandahs.
Msc seaside cabin photos only!
