  1. We have done Nachi Cocom and Passion Island in Cozumel, both are great, but Nachi is hands down my favorite. In Progresso we did an all inclusive thing through the ship at a very nice resort (from what I remember about it --- they were pretty heavy pourers!). One thing I do remember in Progresso were the guards near port with machine guns, that freaked me out a tiny bit.

  2. Disney does that too (and I also LOVE Cedar Point, been going my entire life!), and I've always thought it would be a great idea for Carnival to do. They'd make a killing, I'd be more likely to purchase a photo package electronically than prints. I would think Carnival would save money from not printing all of the photos too?

  3. We never stay on the ship, but Nassau is not our favorite. We took our daughter to Atlantis once which was pretty cool, but in my opinion not worth the crazy money it cost. Once my husband and I just walked around port and the locals were very aggressive with peddling their stuff. I know that's not unique to Nassau, but it annoyed me a little extra that day. So we picked up some souvenirs, walked around a bit and just got back on the ship and enjoyed having it to ourselves.

  4. Interesting ... we have always had twice a day service and never had a conversation about it with the room steward on any of our cruises. Is this something new that's happening? It's been a couple years since our last cruise.

  5. I've always been able to score a table for just our party (varying sizes of 2-3 each time), but I go to the dining room literally first thing when we board. I know some people on cruises like to meet and chat with other people, but that is absolutely 100% not my bag.
