  1. Since you sailing is very port intensive, I would sign up for the International Day Pass through ATT. It includes talk, text and unlimited data. I just used it in March/April for my European trip. You pay $10 a day for a max of 10 days per billing cycle and if you have a second phone it is $5 a day for that phone. If you are gone over 2 billing cycles then the $10 a day will restart and you will start paying the $10 a day again for the max of 10 days on the next billing cycle.

On the days you are at sea then use your Diamond+ free Internet.

We typically purchase the unlimited photo package.  Now might have modified to a certain amount.  We get pics on a website from Royal.  Typically when we arrive home we are emailed the access codes.  We download the pics and make a home album from an outside vendor.  We decided which pics we want to include in the album.  When it was unlimited, a great bargain.  Still a good bargain if you want to purchase more then a handful of pictures.  Wonderful memories.

They don't offer the unlimited package for the cruise I am going on next month. Did the unlimited include speciality dining pictures? Every picture you took?

  3. I was reading the small print on the Royal Caribbean photo packages for my upcoming cruise. In the the small print. It doesn’t include some of the pics I would probably want and don’t want to purchase if they aren’t included especially the pics in the specialty restaurants. It doesn’t include “specialty dining photography, generic photos of the ship, characters, ports of call, etc..” Not sure if ports of call means all the pics you take when you exit off the ship at the ports.

Can anyone who has been on a cruise very recently who has purchased a package share some insight on what is included?

  4. I have noticed price changes on shore excursions. When a price went down I cancelled my currently booked excursion and rebooked it at the cheaper price. Also, once I got on the ship, the same shore excursions I booked ahead of time were approximately $20 or so dollars more per person so I highly recommend booking before you board.

    12. I booked her a teen massage. I signed all the waivers and she went while DH and I enjoyed Chiefs table. We are currently on the Anthem and I was looking for things for my daughter to do. She is now 15. I was told she could only get a massage if I were in the room with her. Same with gum usage. I would have to be with her even after all waivers are signed. Not sure how they work it with 16 yr olds of what the rules on your ship will be.

Thank you for the info. My daughter won't care if I'm in the room as long as she can get a massage :)

  6. I don't believe so, but wasn't looking for one. Just wanted to give you a "heads up" someone posted recently about the pushy sales pitch in the spa and that her teenage daughter had been pressured into extras they weren't planning on. Just a gentle warning!

Thank you for the warning. I will watch out for this. She is 16 and on Carnival she has been able to get a massage so I'm hoping Royal Caribbean will allow her.

  7. I am taking the Florence and Pisa via smart device tour. It does not tell me what time we are in Florence. I would like to purchase ahead of time my Accademia tickets but I have to purchase at a specific time. Has anyone done this tour and been successful in purchasing their Accademia tickets ahead of time? What time should I purchase my tickets?

    Thank you!
