That is good to know! Thanks for posting!

Thanks! Yes we are on that cruise! I am so excited about the Trans Atlantic one that I have been researching the ports for that one, when I should be working on booking our transports from airport to Southampton and back to London for post cruise for the September British Isles cruise! My project for today.

We have this tour booked for August and think we will probably just take a taxi from the port to O'Connell Street as our tour starts at 9:30.
Please come back on when you return and let us know how the tour was and if the taxi was a good option. Hope your husbands knee continues to improve!

Thanks for your reply! It is good to know we have another way to get to the tour starting point. The tour we want to take takes us out of Dublin to a castle and then Howth. We plan on doing the HOHO bus when we return. We are in Dublin until 10 pm. I guess I feel confident enough to book this tour now so thanks for the information!

Thank you so much for your reply! I did a search and we will be at Pier 18 and there was information about travelling to the city and maps so I know much more than I did before!

We will be on Oceania Nautica in Dublin in September and I have found a private tour that leaves from 59 Upper O'Connell St. I need knowledgeable help on ways to get there. The tour starts at 11:00 am and we arrive at 8:00 so time should not be an issue. I do not know if Oceania has a shuttle in Dublin. This tour includes a free one loop on a hop on hop off at the conclusion of tour so that could get us to hopefully a shuttle stop? I do not want to book until I know there are no issues with getting to the start of tour and then back to ship!

Thank you for your help! The quote for $315 was in Canadian so it makes the price a little less for us so we have decided to go with Charles Limousine Service. The only problem is that I emailed back to confirm with the information they required and then again but have received no confirmation from them. I guess I will have to call since I do not want to arrive in Montreal and have no one there to pick us up!

We will be disembarking in Montreal on May 8, 2018. We want to get transportation to Plattsburgh, NY. That bus leaves late in the day like 5:00 pm and we already have been in Montreal overnight and visited before also. We could go in late morning, by bus to Burlington, VT, then rent a car, taking ferry to Plattsburgh but seems a roundabout way to get there. I have had one estimate from a Limo service for $315 that will pick us up at the cruise pier and take us to the Plattsburgh Airport, where we can rent a car. Any one have any other ideas?

During my research this evening, I read that there is "The Malta Classic " October 6-8, a car show with some races near Mdina. We are in Valletta on Oct 06 so I wondered if this would impact any of our tours there. I am looking at a tour that takes us to Marsaxlokk, then on the way back it takes us to Mdina . I am hoping it still will be possible without delays. Thanks for you help!

I got right through, and was told that yes, the Choice Air promotion you booked under would come off of your cruise fare.
Our director of customer service has asked that you email your name, sailing date and booking number. We are both sorry you've had mixed responses! Here's the email to use: AzamaraCustomerService@azamaraclubcruises.com
Thank you Bonnie!!!

Thanks Bonnie, but I think it is resolved now. We just have to book our flights with Choice Air, then call TA and they will contact Azamara and they will send us the $1000 (500 per person credit) It was the Choice Air agent that said the offer did not ever exist. I knew it did, our TA did and pursued the matter and got results. It might not seem much to some, but airfare to Europe is so expensive that that $1000 does help!
-
No, not what happened! Azamara called our TA and said that it was a "miscommunication" on the part of the Azamara agent who put the wrong code on our reservation. So, we will receive our $1000 Choice Air credit that was part of the offer when we booked. So glad I questioned the validity of the Choice Air's agent, who told me there never was a offer ever for Choice Air credit by Azamara and our TA was very proactive in their help!

I booked our Oct 2017 Journey cruise on Oct 19, 2016. The promotion at that time was a balcony room for the inside price and $500 per person Choice Air credit. Since it was too far out to book flights, our TA called Azamara and was told I could book at a later date and receive the credit. The TA made a note of that in our reservation. I made final payment on May 19, 2017 and asked again about Choice air and was told yes the credit was in my reservation. Fast forward to today after much research and with prices rising every week, called Choice Air to book and was told there never was a promotion like that and if there was, the $500 per person would go to the cruise fare, not Choice Air. Our TA spoke with Azamara rep and a supervisor and they again said there was no promotion like that in my reservation. They will let my TA know in 48 hours. Our first time on Azamara is not starting out very well! Anyone have this problem?

We were on a SW flight last year out of Fort Lauderdale and we had PAID FOR Early Bird since we were coming off a cruise and when we got on there were jackets, backpacks etc on several seats. It turns out large family groups had paid for a couple Early Birds and went about saving seats all over. We found seats much farther back than we should have been. Some other passengers became irate and yelling at people wanting to know who belonged to all the seats with just items on them. Some man confronted me wanting to know if I was saving those seats that were across the aisle from me. It was a bad situation and very unfair to the passengers who had paid the early bird fee. We have (Early Bird again) SW flights to Las Vegas in a month and if we run into this situation again will ask attendants to remove items from seats and sit in a seat we paid $15 each to have early access to. Please do not flame me but I feel you should pay the money, do not cheat others that have.

The rubber band did not work at all for me on Celebrity's hair dryers which I assume are very similar. Some nights, my DH had to take over cause I just could not hold on the button any longer! I have fine hair and could barely get my hair dry, would think thick copious hair would mean lots of painful drying time!

Napoleon is a "mille-feuille"...so yes they had them and the chocolate one was AMAZING !!!
Good to know! Thank you so much!

I did not see Napoleons on the list, do you recall seeing them there? I have not had a good one since the last time we were in Montreal.

Just checked again....April 6 and still the old schedule. My repo cruise is April 28 - May 1, so I'm going to have to call them to get this scheduled and paid for.
Roz
You can still book online, we arrive on May 1 also and they pick up at Pan Pacific on that day so you have to click on that and not Canada Place. I called and was told to do that and it worked.

I just purchased a couple dresses from BeallsForida.com. The brand is Hearts of Palm and they are excellent for the tummy area, are made well and I have several that have worn and washed well from that brand.

Here is an example of high waist and flowing out to A-line:
I actually purchased this dress and had to return it because it is made very small in the chest area, the bust part only covered about 2/3 of my chest and I am a 38c. the fabric and colors are lovely though and Macys offers free return shipping now.

Yes it is the closest one to Canada Place and it is also I believe the largest in the chain.
Rosegrower - yes you will be able to use American $$$ but don't expect much of an exchange rate.
There are three ships in port on May 1 - I am on one of them - the Grand Princess so the area around Canada Place is likely to be very busy + the Vancouver Marathon is on the Sunday and there are pre-race activities in the area.
If using Quick shuttle that day get your reservation in now if you haven't already done so.
Cheers!
Dennis
Yes, I already have made the reservation. Thanks for your reply!

There's a Starbucks right there at Canada Place, and there's a small food court across the street and down one level that has a Tim Hortons and a bunch of other food outlets.. If you enter the building to your left (as you stand in front of Canada Place), there's also a place called Creme de la Crumb that has sandwiches
Thanks so much! Will I be able to use American money or should I be sure to have some Canadian?

We arrive in Vancouver May 1 (Friday) on the Celebrity Solstice and since it is at the beginning of the Alaska season there is not an Express shuttle with Quick Shuttle to get us to SeaTac. We have to be in front of the Pan Pacific Hotel at 11:00 am to be picked up at 11:15. We will be the last stop at SeaTac at 5:00pm. There are lots of stops for pickups but we are not allowed to get off bus, so my question is: are there any places nearby that one of us (we will have our bags) can go to purchase sandwiches for eating on the bus. I suppose we could subsist on our granola bars but do not really want to! Thanks for any suggestions!
Dublin tour starts at 59 Upper O'Connell St
