  1. "Wewere all perfectly happy to gather in the sports bar with our favorite bartender and laugh the night away there instead. I know they did the typicalcruise pool games and activities on the top deck but we were hardly ever upthere so I can't speak to those. "

I'm betting this favorite bartender was Paul. He was fantastic, as was all the staff in the Sports Bar. This was our go to hangout on our cruise Jan 6th-13th.,

  2. I was on the January 6th sailing. I believe there was supposed to be a deck party for sail away, it rained. Then, the White Party is the same night as Italian Night and there was supposed to be a deck party for this, it rained and was moved inside to the atrium. All the other theme nights start with a teaser in the atrium and then to the Haven Lounge for the actual event.

  3. Also, theme nights- you mentioned 70s night and Italian night. I've heard there is a flappers night, but there are indications it was just for Aurea and above. Did you see it? Is 70s night for adults only or families?

Were Bingo and the other activities in the Haven lounge free? Did they ever offer family karaoke?

Yes the themed parties were geared towards families as well. They usually started in the atrium with the entertainment staff putting on a show mingling with all guests (all three levels).

There was the 70's night, Italian night, which I believe was also the White Party, The Gatsby Night, and Pirate Night and these themed parties were available to all guests.

I didn't participate in Bingo and only did one activity in the Haven Lounge which was the Quest Game and it was open to anyone.

There was karaoke available, just not sure about family karaoke. The last night, you could actually sing with the band as opposed to a recording.

  4. I was on the Jan 6th sailing and had dinner in the MDR every night (Seashore Restaurant). Overall, I felt the service and quality were good for the most part. The best way to describe everything was inconsistent, which I feel will improve as they get more into a routine as time goes by. There were several instances of the very same dish being very different at our table, such as one person's dish swimming in porcini mushrooms and another having hardly any. Servers were very attentive to take care of any issues very quickly and mostly friendly, except one incident. My wife ordered a pasta dish that she thought was with a red sauce that had mushrooms in it, but when it came it was a porcini mushroom sauce and the server noticed that she didn't want this and immediately offered to get her something else. She said she will just take the roasted chicken from the classic menu (offered most nights). He then proceeded to go get the menu, put it in front of her face, and point out that she needed to read the description of the dish next time! Seemed a little unnecessary to me.

We found the bar service to be very good every night, no problems getting drinks at all.

  5. We just walked off our luggage on 1/13/2018. They ask you to be on deck 6 by 6:30. We got there about 6:15, stood in line about 30 minutes before we were cleared to leave and were off the ship and through customs by 7:15 and at the FLL airport by 8am using Uber.
