  1. ALWAYS speak up, and also tell the rest of us how it was addressed. I have always spoken up and every time I have my concerns were taken seriously. On Serenade we had poor service for breakfast in the MDR when ordering off the breakfast menu. Got a bunch of lip from the waiter, went to the Maitre D. Returned to our room later to find chocolate dipped strawberries and a note of apology. ALWAYS speak up.

  2. There is no need to call RC to link them.

    When you do online check-in, at the 90 day mark before the cruise, you will be asked for your departure information for the first cruise. One option in the pull-down menu is "consecutive cruiser". Check that.

    During online check-in for the second cruise, you will do the same thing for arrival information.

    That's all you need to do.

    (It can't hurt to pop by Guest Services some time during the first cruise to be sure that you are on the consecutive cruisers list. You should also receive information on your bed on day 5.)

    I missed that...thanks. Will go look for it.

  3. Well....I guess it will be a process for me too. I am about 90% sure I have to have surgery that will not be healed enough for me to walk in December on our first B2B. Before anyone says use a wheelchair or something, let me tell you that I am a very active person who will not be happy if I cannot roam a beach and play in the ocean. So....party of 5, two rooms.....I'm following this because I think I'm going to be calling them.

  4. We went there to renew vows and are going again later this year. LOVED it. It's like going to Gilligan's Island. The food is good, the drinks are too, the staff is always there but very good at being hidden and not seen. The will wade into the sea to get and order and serve you. The service was great, not crowded - they limit the number of guests. The give each party a special place of their own to sit. Is there seaweed? Yes. There is sea weed ANYWHERE in Costa Maya. It's the way the beaches are there.

  5. YES YES YES!!!! DO IT! We LOVE it and it is one of my all time favorites. Greg offers several excursions, we did the rain forest hike, and it was amazing. It was a path he cut himself, and you won't see anyone beyond your tour and they guy who owns the land he's hiking on.

  6. According to the CDC, within the past 5 years the breakdown of infected ships is this:

    Princess = 14

    Celebrity = 10

    Royal Caribbean = 8

    Holland America = 5

    NCL = 3

    P&O, Crystal, Oceania and Carnival each have = 1

  7. Okay, I understand that the MDR and Room are added in automatically.

    I am guessing that if we buy drinks at the bar ( not big drinkers here) then the tip is automatically added?

    We have a spa appointment booked....is a gratuity automatically added to that?

    Sorry, but we have sailed RCCL more than Princess, (this is our second Princess Cruise) so we want to make sure we are ready.

    Thanks.

    :)

  8. FYI: Because of the recently published new studies everyone should reconnect with their docs regarding low cholesterol diets. Apparently most of what we have been told about cholesterol for years is now widely considered to be false by the medical community.

    Thanks Carolyn. Without going in to my health online, I will just say that I'll listen to my doctor(s).

    I appreciate everyone's feedback. I called Princess and they noted the account and we will work with the appropriate staff nightly.

    Thanks again!!! :)

  9. Hi all,

    I need to eat a heart healthy low cholesterol diet and was just wondering.....are the menus on the Caribbean Princess marked with heart healthy options? I have seen older menus from 2012, but they only denote vegetarian options. Also does anyone know if they offer eggbeaters as an alternative?

    Thanks in advance!
