On the back of this question, does anyone know what happens if you are in the middle of a cruise on 1st April?  Is it strict at 31st March it cuts off and from 1st April the points you earn will go towards the new 12 month period - or is the total for that cruise added to the total for the previous year?

So if I am cruising 29th March 2019 until 12th April, will those points be added to the 2018/2019 total or the 2019/2020 total?

Thanks in advance for your responses 🙂

I asked this question when I booked and was told I needed to meet the requirements for the level by the 31st regardless of when that date fell within my cruise.. I'd suggest asking onboard at 1st day casino open. Every ship seems to handle things individually..

  2. Good advice! I do have some allergies and will certainly let them know about them. Unfortunately, I am allergic to lobster and crab and I cry about it all the time! lol

Hmmm...they were changing the Remy menu 4 times a year. Is it down to twice now?

To OP--they are very comparable. Since you say you'll have the chance to try both' date=' enjoy!

And if you have allergies or special needs, let them know at least a day ahead. They will create special offerings for you. DO NOT let allergies limit your experience--with just a little notice, they can work wonders.[/quote']

  3. Hi All!

I need some advice. I booked my cruise directly through DCL and my mother and sister decided to book through a large agency. To be honest, I love the women I am speaking with at DCL. They are so knowledgeable and helpful. I just love them. On the other hand the agent at the large agency got all of my mother's information wrong to start with. She was supposed to call me to get my reservation moved to her and it took two and a half weeks for her to call me. That really put me off.

My quandary is this: Will I have problems coordinating our specialty dining and later, our WDW dining reservations for all 8 of us if I do not use my mother's agent? Will I have problems coordinating other activities? I just don't trust my mother's agent, however, I am the point person for making reservations and all plans... will splitting up our reservations between dealing direct with Disney and this other agent be a problem? BTW, my mother won't budge, she is convinced she will get great perks from this large agency.. I say knowledge and service is my first priority!

    Thanks in advance!

  4. I booked my first Disney cruise for January 2015! So far away, but I know it will come fast! The entire family is going to celebrate my sister's 35th birthday. Wonderful! AH to be 35 again! lol

We will be on the Dream and from everything I have heard it will be spectacular!

Thanks Big Al for your review of the Dream, it was wonderful!

  5. Hello,

I will be sailing January 19th-23 2015 on the Dream. After our cruise we are going to spend a few nights at WDW. Does anyone know when I can begin booking my package land reservations through Disney Reservations?

When I call, they are saying 499 days in advance, but that doesn't make sense since, if it were, I'd be able to book now. I cannot book my package deal now since those dates in 2015 aren't available yet.

    Thanks!

    Patti

  6. Hello all,

What is the best way to find out the dining rotation? How many days before the cruise can I find out and who should I get the information from?

I am thinking of going to Remy and want to ensure I pick the correct day so I don't miss anything important in the MDR.

    Thanks in advance!

  7. Yes, very much well worth it if you are looking to cruise in the next year! I've had two such certificates. When you are ready to book all you pay is the taxes and port charges. For a 7 day cruise out of NY it was roughly 500 dollars. Where can you get a seven day cruise for that amount of money?? Then if you want to upgrade to a better cabin, you can do that, just pay the difference.

NCL is fantastic and I love sailing with NCL. I am sure you will love it! So, go and get the certificate and take a cruise! Why not??
