Thanks for the copies of all the cruise compasses and info guys, I really appreciate it. 

Looking for any information/cruise compasses for the Adventure Ocean program. We are sailing on the AOTS for an 8 day. Our kids are ages 9 and 12 and this is their first cruise, and our first time using Adventure Ocean. I have heard wonderful things from both cruisers and their children about how much fun the kids have. I would like all the advice: so far all I have been able to find is show up on embarkation day to sign up and learn more, and the program is closed for brief hours for lunch and dinner.

I'd love to know more about how AO works on both sea days and port days. Also, can we expect a different routine on formal nights? Our sailing is on Halloween, will they have anything special planned that night?

We have cruised on Halloween before but it was many years ago, before we had kids.

Now our boys are 9 and 12 and we are taking them on their first cruise in just a couple months! Our sailing on the Adventure of the Seas will take place over Halloween.

As I recall from our last Halloween sailing, there were kids wandering the ship going trick-or-treating (or perhaps the candy bowl we left outside our cabin was raided by hungry cruisers), and I think the Adventure Ocean program offered a party for the kids that night.

Can anyone tell me more about what is offered for kids on Halloween on the Adventure? Will the Adventure Ocean program offer anything extra and fun for the kids to do? Should we bring trick-or-treat buckets? Should we bring candy for trick-or-treaters?

Also, I'd love your favorite costume ideas, nautical themed or not!

Just checking in on everyone. It sounds like you've had a wonderful vacation with some really great excursions. We did the same turtles & reef excursion as you when in Barbados and it was one of our favorites.
