I meant more room - on the balcony  - we don't spend much time in the cabin, just hoped to maybe be able to eat breakfast out there. 

Cruise booked on Oasis for Jan 2023.  Will be cruising with my hubby and 2 kiddos - considering upgrading to the large balcony cabin so there is more room for all of us, however wondering if there is also extra seating?  Does anyone know if there are foot stools with the chairs in the large balcony cabins?  Would just be nice for all of us to be able to sit out there, otherwise there is really no point to it.

Update - I bit the bullet and sat on hold (the original reason for posting this question was they caution long hold times when you call) -  they say there will be a long hold on the prompt but was not long at all!!    I was able to discuss and use my FCC without any questions as to whether I had a Travel Agent and she answered a lot of questions I had - great customer service! All is well!!  

That said -  If you have FCC - they haven't updated all the certificates to reflect the new change in expiration date - make sure you ask the right questions.  I'm currently on hold just waiting on paper work to finalize.

I had booked and cancelled 2 cruises with my Travel Agent (due to COVID) and currently have FCC for my original deposit.  I'm wondering if I can switch to booking directly through Royal without hassle even though I have an FCC with my previous TA?   I'm just finding the communication really poor and I already have had a cruise go up in price because I was waiting for a response.  I'm usually more up to date on what is going on and pricing than she is.....

We did a lift and shift from our January 2021 Cruise (which was non-refundable) to a January 2022 cruise.  We are from Canada, I have mixed vaccines and have 2 kids under 12 😬 so I called my TA to see if I could do another L&S to January 2023.  I could only L&S to another cruise departing prior to April 2022.  In order to move my cruise again I will have to pay a penalty of $100 per person.  That said,  my TA also told me to wait on it to see if Royal will make any changes to cruise with confidence program based on all the uncertainty.  Fingers crossed!!! 🤞

Thanks everyone.  My kids are young, so less worried about soda, but they may want some sort of fancy non-alcoholic slushy drinks or chocolate milk etc. Sounds like its best to limit them to 1 a day and just pay for it.

We usually cruise with Royal, but I am considering an Alaskan cruise with NCL in 2021 and have a question about the "Open Bar" offer.   

We will be sailing with our 2 children, and while I understand that the open bar offer is for guests 1 & 2, does that mean I have to purchase the soda package for my kids?  Or are they covered with the free at sea deal?

Just noticed that the deluxe beverage package is 20% off right now for my January oasis cruise. Is this a good deal or Will it go on sale again before January? I think I read somewhere that Royal does a black Friday sale on their packages?
