  1. Ok so I read through all the responses and maybe I'm the only one who is doing this but I can tell you that sour candy works for me 100%. Sour punch, sour straws anything super sour.

I suffer from motion sickness in the car (when I'm in the passenger seat and try to look at my phone too much, or if I turn around to talk to people in the backseat). I always have sour chewy candy in my glove compartment. Jolly Ranchers work too (the hard candy)...they are not as sour but still sour enough.

I do the same when I get on the plane. I'm always fine until we land....and this depends a lot on the weather and how fast or slowly the plane is landing. I chew my sour candy and I'm fine.

On the last cruise I got a little motion sickness but it wasn't too bad. Again, I was prepared.

I also get motion sickness when I snorkel.

Please don't listen to people who say to stay on land or just sit under a palm tree. Just come prepared. Try different things...as you can see different things work for different people.

    Good luck :-)

  2. Jasalth, thank you so much for your response. But I don’t fully understand. I’m not looking for late night clubbing. But we do want options right after dinner. May it be a movie theater or some type of show. I’m just looking for more than what we would get on a Regent Cruise if that makes sense.

Keith, thank you very much. I will look into Crystal Cruises.

Gut2407, if budget didn’t matter what would your recommendations be? If you can give me some luxury cruise lines that offer great entertainment I would love to know.

  3. Hello :-)

My husband and I are planning a cruise for our 20th anniversary which will be in 2020.

We are eyeing either a cruise leaving Sydney, going to the South Pacific or a Mediterranean Cruise visiting Spain, Italy and Greece.

We want this cruise to be something special. I looked into Regent, Viking, Windstar...but we are not looking for enrichment classes or lectures in the evening. For this cruise we want comedy, magic shows, etc.

We want great food and great service.

We are not into jazz and we are not into wine/alcohol.

Trying to find the right cruise line is very difficult as there are so many to choose from.

I was eyeing Celebrity...so far we've cruised with Carnival once and twice with Disney.

I appreciate ANY and ALL suggestions, advice and/or questions you have and thank you so much in advance.

Oh, and we are in our early 40s and we will be traveling without kids.

  4. Hello,

My husband and I are taking our son on his first cruise in February 2018. He turns 6 and we leave for the cruise right after his birthday.

This is a 5 night western caribbean cruise leaving from Miami with stops on Castaway Cay and Cozumel. We will be cruising on the Magic.

What does Disney offer as far as celebrating a child's birthday?

I'm a little concerned about cooler temperatures since it will be February. What is your experience?

I would love to hear any advice that will make this cruise awesome for all of us.

    Thank you in advance!!!!! :*
