This tipping is now getting on my nerves, I thought leavingthe auto tips on would be sufficient. But I think I will feel very embarrassed on the last night when some guests are giving out envelopes towaiters and wine waiters and my husband and I just leave the table. They had a better system on Celebrity when you paid auto tips you got given envelopes togive to your cabin steward and waiters stating you had paid auto tips and if warranted a little extra was put in theenvelope.

I am going to leave the auto tips on as I think all staff should benefit. Can I just ask at the end of our cruise will our steward and waiters expect further tips as I think £144 tips for our cruise seems ample. On other cruises I have been on they give you envelopes to give to the staff stating you have opted for auto tips.

As we travel before the new alcohol policy comes into force, will the fridge hold a 3 litre box of white wine to drink in the cabin. We are sailing in a balcony cabin on the Oriana and we like a pre dinner drink.

Thanks for your help Brian.

I have booked assistance for my husband to board the ship Oriana, and as we are travelling on the coach we believe we will not see luggage until we get to our cabin. I am just wondering when we depart the ship at the end of the cruise will the luggage be taken direct to the coach or will we get help thank you.

I will definitely be leaving the auto tips on, as you say £6 per person a day covers all staff who work hard even those you do not come into contact. I could not be bothered with envelopes.

I am very confused about this tipping, if I leave Auto tipping on, will the waiters and other staff know I have done this or will they expect a little extra at the end of the cruise. Do I also tip for room service, and another question if we order room service breakfast to eat on the balcony can I nip to the buffet to get bacon and muffins my husband is not very mobile at the moment thanks for any help.

I have long dresses from previous cruises a few years ago, do a lot of ladies still adhere to wearing long dresses. I have got a few cocktail dresses that I am going to take for formal nights, still considering whether to take a long dress help!.

Most people like me and my husband like to enjoy a pre dinner drink (one only) on the balcony or while getting dressed. As we depart on 30th January I intend to take a 3 litre box to last the 12 nights. I only hope it will fit into the fridge.

I am going on the Oriana 30th January 2018 from Southampton, I emailed P&O and asked if I could take 3ltr box of wine they stated we could as the alcohol policy does not start until the 1st February 2018 so I will take the email with me just in case there is a problem. Can anyone tell me if it is OK to put in the Suitcase instead of hand luggage.
-
Sorry meant 1st February 2018, it does not state that in my brochure just 1 litre each of spirits or wine.
As I am going on 30th January could I risk taking a box of wine to drink in the cabin, we do not drink spirits.

Where can I find the Alcohol policy that states begins on 1st February 2017. Thanks

My friend is travelling alone going to South America in March on the Zaandam, she is getting quite nervous, do many people travel solo, she is very friendly so I am sure she will be OK.

Hi I have just booked Cabin 9162 on the Constellation for 2nd March 2007 if anyone can send me any pictures it would be appriciated. I am really looking forward to the cruise and the cabin which I would not have picked if I had not discovered this from this wonderful site. We are off to Cape Town in South Africa for my daughter wedding at the end of this month then off to Goa in India in Febuary and Greece in June life is just a bowl of cherries since we both retired remember "you cant take it with you".
