We have an S5 suite. I have heard about the specialty dining on the first night of the cruise and wondered if there was a dedicated concierge that made those reservations, or so we just show up. What are our choices for the specialty dining?

We have a cruise booked for next year. First time on Princess in a suite and I have a couple of questions. Is there a concierge for suite guests? Where are they located? Is there a lounge for suite guests? thank you, looking forward to this special cruise.

We were on the Brilliance last month for the TA and did not experience the problems the OP had. We had the Surf and Stream for 1 device.

Serenade does not have that feature.

Matt, what is the story with nightly cocktails for Elites vs Royal's Diamond cocktail hours? We are considering the Equinox, but wonder if the "drink benefits" are comparable ? Thanks ! Loving your review !

We just got off Equinox today and enjoyed their cocktail hours for Elite and up members. It is 2 hours instead of 3 but they offer more types of liquor. And the water views are beautiful in the venue they use.

Now I know for sure RCL reads these posts. I just completed a cruise a few days ago and just filled out the online comment card. Two questions specifically addressed this issue. One asked if you had been given a speech by a crew member about the rating marks and the next one asked where the crew member worked, ex. housekeeping, dining room.

We were also on this cruise. Our deck chairs and larger table was new for our cruise.

We were very impressed with the food in the Windjammer for breakfast and lunch. Served crepes, fantastic stuffed French toast, and at lunch they had crab claws one day.

Are there any hotels near the port of Miami that will keep your car and have a shuttle service to the port?

Can someone recommend a good parking company at the port? The website of the one we usually use doesn't seem to be working. Thank you.

We had a JS on deck 8 in June and the bed was great. Last week on the Allure we were in a JS on deck 11 and the bed sagged. It had a pillow top added to it but was still uncomfortable for me.

According to Captain Ron, there were a couple of people that wanted to "slap themselves" yesterday during the sail away, so they put them off the ship after the medical emergency was transprted. That was the reason we spent a longer time back at the port.

Having sailed on both Oasis and Allure lately, they both have the fastest debarkation for Pinnacle/suites than ever experienced. We all met the concierge at 8:00. He walked us to the gangway and port terminal employees stopped everyone else as we walked by. We found our luggage, went through customs and out the door by 8:20.

I am getting on the Allure tomorrow, so I can post more recent pictures of the Pinnacle perks.

How do you manage to be chosen to dine with the captain? What a great experience for you.

We also found the entertainment to be lacking on our Vision cruise last month. They tend to book acts where no talking is needed due to the many European languages of the passengers.

On the Vision earlier this month, both lounges had signs on the door saying no drinks were to be taken out of the lounge and the concierges were enforcing it.

We just took a cab from our hotel last Saturday to board the Vision. Cost was 20 Euros. They wouldn't let us check in at the terminal until 10:45

WiFi on the Vision is OK. I have a tablet that I use in my cabin for checking emails and FB. Downloading videos is very slow though.

The NCL Spirit has one heck of an itinerary starting in Barcelona and ending in Venice. Also has the reversed itinerary. We booked a highly rated bed and breakfast near st marks square for $125/ night in August. Also when searching airlines, choose multi city. They do not necessarily charge more when booking this way but they do gouge if booking one ways. Alternatively round Trip into London heathrow seems to be the cheapest then booking one way within Europe is not too bad.

What is the name of the B&B that you booked?

That's awesome! Why did mine go up so much? Is that 2016 or 2017?
