The same on the escape this week. Cagneys and Teppenyaki.

Customs was completely empty....no wait

Today we got on line 7:20...disembark started 7:45 we were on the street 7:55...well worth leaving that early. We carried our own luggage, 1 carry on each.

The line was smaller through the Manhattan Room VS forward. There were 2 lines.

We just got off too...ac was good. Don't mean to hijack.

Wondering if it would be better to just go down at 7:45 - 8 and avoid standing around for 25 minutes?

 

This is what we do on other ships, try and head down 30 minutes or so after initial self-disembark starts. I know Escape starts disembark late though, which may cause more issues with that approach.

The line to get off is continuously growing...we did only have carry on luggage with us.

We lined up 7:20 started disembark 7:45...on 12th Ave at 7:55 was GREAT...highly recommend!

In the states 20% IS what I tip for excellent service. Some instances more....but it would have to be WAY deserved.

Every receipt you sign for (Starbucks, drinks, dining) says 20% gratuity included...there is a line for additional tips. So do you give additional tips and why? Just curious. I feel like 20% is a good tip already. Do the servers even get that money?

To me taste is personal. The hamburger ROLLS are horrible....too bad cause the burgers are good.

Do we need to get any luggage tags if we only have carry on luggage? Can we walk off anytime with no tags? Thanks

We are on the Escape now and have received various responses from guest services when I inquired.

You think making the pool shallow so everyone can stand will add or reduce the room to swim... :o

My point was since there is no room to swim anyway, allow people to stand so more people can enjoy being in the pool.

I like to chill in the pool...you're making it like what I asked was ridiculous.

I understand the drinkers ruin it. But holding a rail in the pool isn't enjoyable. I can swim....there is no room to.

The pools are too small to begin with.....the depth for that pool is the dumbest thing on the boat. Makes no sense.

Lol. Why would anyone sail on Escape who enjoys the pool?

Maybe because thats the only week we can cruise and wanted it from NY......any more smart questions?

Mini Suite deck 10..Love the shower, big with spray jets.

Not sure if it was discussed...on the Escape the adult pool is 6'8" deep. That is the most ridiculous thing ever. People who want to cool off have to fight for a spot against the wall to hold onto the rail. Like its not already crowded enough!! Why not allow people to stand in The water to make it more accessible to more people?? JUST PLAIN STUPID!!!
