Hello there!

My 13 year old son and I are sailing on board the Ruby Princess on August 3rd RT Seattle.  I have been monitoring the port weather carefully to determine proper clothing; however, I was wondering if any of you reading this post have recently sailed on an Alaska Cruise to provide me with some information regarding sea day temps.  I am not sure if shorts/t-shirts would be appropriate clothing in early August on sea days vs. wind breakers/jeans.  My last Alaskan Cruise was in 2000 and in May, so I am not too familiar with sea day temps this time of the year.

Any kind guidance would be appreciated.
