  1. I am so excited to be with my significant other on his first cruise! I have cruised before so I am very comfortable with it, however, my S.O. had a stroke 10 years ago at the age of 52. He is paralyzed on his left side. He is able to walk short distances with a cane and uses a 4-wheeled Pride electric scooter for long distances.

We can't find much information about accessibility. The only port we will be visiting on this maiden voyage is Cozumel. We just booked our Royal Caribbean cruise for March 2018 and got one of the last handicap accessible state rooms to we are set there. There is only one accessible excursion and I'm not sure if we will be able to do that. Sounds like you need a collapsible wheelchair for that so the scooter won't work.

Does anyone out there have any experience cruising with a mobility challenge like he has and have any suggestions?
