  1. I have been trying to monitor this thread for a couple of months now and although I'm starting to understand some of the terms and acronyms, it is still very confusing. We are leaving for a cruise on the Danube (Bucharest to Budapest) in two weeks and have one key question - if the water is low (or high) in Germany, how long does it take for that to impact the water in Romania and Bulgaria.

I am not nearly as worried about boat swaps and a few bus rides because our trip was cancelled at the last minute last year (literally, we were already packed) and I would hate to have it cancelled again.  Just getting there, even if there was some inconvenience with a few extra bus trips, would be preferable to having to miss the trip completely again. I guess my question is how do I translate this information to what the consequences will be at the end we plan on traveling.

  2. We travel from Bucharest to Budapest on Avalon in October. We were originally scheduled for this trip last October and our trip was cancelled two days before we were to depart.  I'm trying to monitor/understand this feed but am a little unclear of how the levels now will impact our trip. Does anyone have suggestions for me going forward? It will obviously be highly disappointing if we get cancelled again this year and I'm trying to anticipate as much as I can.  Thanks in advance for any insight anyone can give us.
