Just got back from the cruise - amazing value for money... even got upgraded to an oceanview cabin!

Last day the ship sailed away at 17:30 and we stayed on until 16:30, had lunch with service, cocktails, etc. The drinks package is active until the very end.

I recently booked a discounted cruise on Costa Diadema, sailing from Barcelona May 7th for 5 nights, ending in Savona. Price was (and still is) 169 EUR (around $200) for Interior Value (IV) guaranteed cabin, bookable only on the Italian version of Costa website. Seems like quite a bargain.. albeit being kind of a "repositioning" cruise.

Last summer Costa had some great upgrade offers during boarding, for instance 220 EUR for full board for two for 7 days at the Club restaurant (amazing value). I am wondering if they still have similar promotions during boarding.

Has anyone boarded a Costa cruise recently and encountered such offers?
