  1. Leaving on a Ruby Princess Cruise shortly and received this notice.

Guests agree not to bring alcoholic beverages of any kind onboard for consumption, except one bottle of wine or champagne per adult of drinking age (no larger than 750 ml) per voyage, which will not be subject to a corkage fee if consumed in the stateroom. Additional wine or champagne bottles are welcome, but will incur a $15 corkage fee each, irrespective of where they are intended to be consumed. Liquor, spirits or beers are not permitted. Please remember that luggage will be scanned and alcohol outside of our policy will be removed and discarded.

  2. I started planning a month or so before so that I would buy any missing items. Then lay them out in our guest room to narrow down the selections. Somethings you just cannot back in advance because you use them so much in your week to week normal life

  3. I totally agree with you. It's not the size of the shower. It's the size of the person in it that's to big. :) :)

Sorry the money of larger people is not green enough for you. Or that you feel the need give your opinion on the source of the problem but no one asked you. No need for the negative comments. If you cannot provide a nice comment please just keep on scrolling. Sorry my hubby is 6'4". And sorry I don't find the comment funny

    .

  4. My question is simple, I hope - :D

I have heard that the showers on Ruby Princess (showers only not tub/shower combo) those are generally in the interior cabins and Balcony Cabins are very small (closet like). I am not looking for a spa but worried about the actual functionality of them and not having water everywhere.

Does anyone know the exact size of the showers on Ruby?? (height and width) Hubby is 6'4" and not overall petite.

From the pics I see they look like corners of the bathroom and really really small but this could be the pictures?.

Do all of them have curtains vs. door? I think they all have showers have curtains.

Are there issues of water and slippery floors water gushing out? Are extra towels given?? I am worried about 1) it being hard for our older family members - slip and fall aspect, and 2) plus size and/or tall people having a harder time.

    Any thoughts? Suggestions or advise?

    THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

  5. Places to visit on the ship.

-International Cafe, deck 5, open 24/7, a nice place for lunch, continental breakfast.

-Like espresso drinks? Purchase the cafe selects card. Good for 15 espresso drinks (punches) plus unlimited brewed coffee and special teas for the cruise.

-Like wine? Visit Vines, deck 5. Wine by the glass plus sushi and/or tapas at no extra charge.

-Comics or other entertainment in Explorer's lounge, arrive early the lounge is small.

-Magic to Do production show. I feel this is Princess' best show. It is just under 1 hour long. For the 8pm show arrive around 45 mins. early. For the late show at least 30 mins early.

-Normally there is a BOGO in the Wheelhouse in the afternoon and late night in Skywalker's.

-Don't miss Skywalker's, deck 18 aft. Great daytime views. Open as a nightclub around 9pm.

-Like to read? Nice chairs on the promenade deck, also Adagio Lounge, deck 16 aft.

-Best views are from the open decks where you can get 360 degree vistas. They are not from one's balcony. Don't miss going all the way forward on the promenade deck, climb the stairs to deck 8 and walk to the bow of the ship.

-Read the Princess Patter each day. It has all the events and shows. Watch out for activities that are really sales talks, like spa information.

QUESTION - you mention unlimited brewed coffee and premium tea with the punch card purchase, I am expecting the coffee and tea offered with this card is different to the coffee (syrup) that is generally available?
