I’m scheduled to sail on Freedom of the Seas in January 24th. We booked a balcony guarantee. I bid on a Grand Suite 1 BR for $10 above the minimum ($160 each, minimum was $150, it’s a 4 day cruise)
I noticed at 18 days until sailing my bid was locked. I still did not have a room number for the balcony guarantee.
Today is 16 days until sailing and I got my email that my bid was accepted and I now have a suite and a room number!- 6

We cruised in February and didn't get credit for the longest time. I contacted carnival and apparently they made us a new VIFP profile (not sure how, it had the right number on the card). But they had to combine the profiles and then it showed up. So I would contact Carnival. This happened to a lot of people on our sailing

Digital scavenger hunt on Vista. The rules stated to get a picture of everything on the list and to be creative. My phone camera was at 4% battery, so I was a smart alec and took a picture of the list. Technically it's a picture of everything on the list, right!? She laughed and gave it to me!
My 6 year old son one by himself for doing the ropes course on Vista. He chickened out at first, then tried again and rocked it! So they gave it to him. :-)

My boys (ages 5 and 6, been cruising since they were 3 and 4) have always worn khakis and polos in the MDR. On formal night, they wear vests and ties. :-) They can wear shorts at the buffet, but they love their "fancy clothes"

Loving the pictures! We sail Vista in 40 days and we have our first balcony, too! We will be in a Cove Balcony. Looking at the pictures, you were in a cove, too? How did you like it?

We were in a French Door room on Pride in February 2017. The doors opened for us. :-) Loved it!

We've been booked 1 time and successfully made it that time. We went in February and it was super clear and beautiful! No problems at all!

Thanks for the review! We will be on Liberty in June. First cruise without our kids! I can't wait and your review makes me more excited!

We booked an Everglades tour, we get off Vista in Miami and we fly from FLL at 6pm. We cruise in February, so I'm excited to see how the excursion and transfer work!

Not a big star, but.....
We met Ron Glass (Barney Miller) on the Elation in 07. He was with a group called the "Brown Coats". He told us it was for a movie and short lived TV series. Most of group were twenty somethings, he came over and chatted with us as we were closer to his age. Had lunch with him twice and did an excursion with him. Very down to earth guy.
Eeek!!!!! I would have wet myself from excitement! I'm a Browncoat! Fan of Firefly and Serenity! I went to a convention in California and met several of the actors, but not Ron Glass!

I love sea days! Sometimes they feel a bit crowded, but once you find your spot, I love to just watch the ocean! Actually, I'm sitting here right now, reading Cruise Critic and watching a YouTube video of a balcony view....just the water going by. :-) I love it!

I had a massage (just me, Swedish massage) on Fantasy in July and it was glorious! I got a $50 coupon from my room steward for my birthday, so I booked it last minute. I loved the massage. I hated it after because it became a sales pitch for their fancy creams/detox crap. All I could think was "I'm not interested, I'm relaxed, leave me alone." But the massage was awesome!

I've been on 3 cruises. The first was Carnival Ecstasy before It got all the upgrades (there was waterworks, but no Guys burger). It is the 2nd oldest ship and we had an amazing time! We just got off Carnival Fantasy last month, the oldest ship, and again, it was an amazing time! We were also on Carnival Pride in February, good ship! But not new by any means.
In 6 months, we will be on Carnival Vista. I'm excited to try the newer ship, but my heart is on the smaller, older ships! Don't let the age of the ship scare you! It is so much fun!

I got my August 21st, 7 night on Divina booked today from MyVEGAS! It cost me 1,000,000 coins, but I had over 3 million. I called once and the guy told me to email the info and he couldn’t do it. I hung up and called again and was able to book with a wonderful agent! Got me a premium balcony room, added a 3rd and 4th guest in my room (my kids) and they were free! Just port fees and taxes! So 4 people, balcony room, for less than $600! I call that a win!
