Aug 16th refund status:

Received call from Celebrity on 10-9 to verify my extra expenses and get CC number to issue refund. Told it would not hit CC until next week. I asked about FCC issuance and deadline to use and was told that if booked by exp date is OK but they did not want to reprint the FCCs. On Friday, 11th, received 2 FCC certs, 1 for myself, 1 for DW, for full amount paid for cabin split between the 2 of us.

Credits (3 total) for extra expenses posted to my CC on 10-22. I have FCCs in hand and trying to figure out where to use them.

Did your FCC match your refund or was it slightly less?

 

Our FCC's work out a couple hundred less than our refund even when we subtract the taxes refunded onboard.

Matched exactly.

Still waiting for Extra expenses to post to CC. TA had to do something on their end for the cruise refund to post. Hopefully it will post in the next few days so I do not have to call the TA again.

* One certificate per person, per booking, and valid only for the person noted on the certificate. Excludes Xpedition unless you were on an Xpedition sailing.

Called Celebrity on Friday 13th, Told to contact TA. TA did not get back to me until sat. the 14th. I was told credit posted on the 12th but that was simply not true. Credit for almost all of the cruise fare posted on the 14th. TA said another $60 ($30x2) was going to be posted this week. Not sure what that amount represents. I am basically waiting on the airfare change fees/misc expenses to get home refund.

If you were on the Aug 16th trip and have not received the bulk of your refund yet, I would get in touch with Celebrity and your TA at this point.

Received $101.88 X2 refund for what I am guessing is the port etc fees on 9/5 to my card. Have not gotten the much higher cruise fare yet.

I was on the Aug 16th Vancouver to Ketchikan cruise. I submitted my travel home expenses on Aug 30th so I do not expect them for a while but I was really hoping to have the cruise fare portion refunded to offset this months credit card before it closes for the month.

Received $101.88 X2 refund for what I am huessing is the port etc fees on 9/5 to my card. Have not gotten the much higher cruise fare yet.
