    Not since on MSC a few years ago: Multiple people (100+) had issues opening them the last night and some of the cabin stewards came around saying "if you don't want to wait for us use code...." Same code has worked on 3 different lines so NOPE not using it.
    Lol. Sailing tomorrow on NCL Dawn. Going to leave my cash, pro dslr, passports, DW jewelry, and pro iPad on the desk. LOL, NOT. IT'S a Safe, USE IT. WHAT ELSE IS IT FOR.

    Someone just posted in the Facebook page they just got upgraded from inside to balcony a few minutes ago. Scratch that- just checked everything is sold out except inside

    Just got the rejection email. Both bids were in good range. Balcony was 185.00 , mini suite 250.00. To ad insult to injury, last night GTY balcony were 150.00 less than OV we booked. Will enjoy the cruise, but the bidding process can be frustrating. Especially when in the last 3 days all the posts with very low bids being taken, 5 weeks out.

    Great news. Still hoping. Looks like NCL is going down to the wire on our cruise. Last few days seeing inside to balcony being taken for 50.00. Plus they got them 30 days out. Won't care if they let me know at 3:59. But have to admit it's been a tad frustrating.

    It's been my experience that you don't save that much buying liquor on a cruise, especially on the ship. Mostly what you save is duty which is like sales tax & even if you save 10%, don't forget the hassle of carrying it back to the ship or off the ship. You can't carry it on to a plane & you shouldn't put expensive scotch in an unheated cargo hold. And don't forget the limit when you go through customs.
    Lol. I take it you don't live in Connecticut. We can save over 50% on lots of liquor on the ship. Worth the little trouble to bring home.

    No Haven on NCL Dawn. Did a big up bid on the mini suites. Not to many left. But if people are bidding on full suites, might have a few to go back in upgrade pool. Im thinking should know by this time tomorrow as will be 72 hours before sailing. Lol, my wife just texted me about the upgrade. Didn't want one last week.

    On CCL they dance the most. RCCL not as much. I have to admit didn't like it at 1st, then it kinda grew on me. The staff always enjoys it so it's fun. They have a very hard job, so it's one way to have a little fun. In my job can't think I would see the judges hop into a dance,LOL. Of course we had the dancing Judge Ito on the Tonight show.....

    11/27/17 Jade I Bid $50 the lowest bid permitted and it upgraded me from obstructed ocean to midship balcony[emoji41]Needless to say I am one very happy cruiser
    Great deal and so quick of NCL to pull trigger on the upgrade. Lol. Bid a heck of a lot more and leave in 5 days, so only 3 days left. Still no word. Figured the oct27 sailing, is not a prime date. Last cruise to Bermuda for NCL Dawn this year. So NCL would love to take the upgrades. Looks like it's not going to happen. Even my wife who was not extited, wants the upgrade.

    Didn’t even know you could bid on more than one category. NCL is not typically my preferred cruise line, so unfamiliar with their process. Oh well, like Tim Gunn says, I will just have to “Make It Work!”

    Same as well. 1st NCL cruise. You get to bid on next 2 categories from your booked cabin. I see about 12+ balcony and only a few mini suites. No Haven on NCL Dawn. Last Bermuda cruise was 2 days at port. Taking a 3 days in port, see more to do at royal dockyard. That's good as coming in on a Sunday and lots of things closed until Monday. Enjoy

    I bid $850 (mid-good) for an aft penthouse. In hindsight, I should have bid the $50+ for a regular balcony because they had some available on the website. The aft penthouse was not available so the Revenue Dept. probably only had one on hold.

    Well that was a good bid. But your right as to bid on balcony as a back-up. I just bid on balcony just into good range. Still less than amount that by TA would get me. Lol, im off to Bermuda in 5 days. It's 81 in Connecticut and only 77 in Bermuda. But the water temps are much better.

    Can hope that after all the other upgrades are done. They can start to fill the now vacated cabins with the last round. Good luck. 4 days left for us to find out. Justed tweaking the 2 offers. That might be why they wait till last hours. Hoping we add a few extras bucks in to the pool.

    I told my sister that I withdrew the bid so I can pay for the next cruise and did not want to tie up that much money on my card so she said hell I want a suite so what do I do we put it on her Credit card she put in a low offer and bam today she got it about an hour ago. Funny thing is I bid higher than what she just did.

    Many have found 1st timers to NCL have a better chance. Hope so as it's my 1st NCL cruise. Never got upgraded on any RCCL or CCL
