  1. We are deciding between the Miracle and the Legend and I have a few questions...

    - am I correct that neither have the seaside theater?

    - do either show movies in an inside room?

    - do either have free on demand movies in the cabins?

    Thanks!

    For Legend:

    No seaside theater.

I noticed a movie being show each afternoon on the last 2 days in the comedy lounge . Did not notice any other day but could have missed it .

No on demand movies. Just a few regular TV stations .

  2. I understand the heartache of losing a stuffed animal worse than losing an iPad that can be replaced ... I had also reached out to John heald on Facebook u can have him try to check he got back to me in less than 2 days

Thanks for the suggestion, I did post on his page and the Carnival page and so far the responses have been "you have to let the lost item process work". So I wait.

  3. While we did not have anything of monetary value left on ship, we did have one very, VERY important Pooh Bear left in the cabin. This was not noticed until we were at the airport. We called the Cruise line and they took all our information. The trip home was not ideal as Pooh is LIFE. Some snacks got us through until nap time and on the drive from the airport to home, we were called by the cruise line. Pooh was found!!! He would be turned over to the home office and would be sent home from there. We requested an overnight either FedEx or UPS, paid an upcharge (gladly paid) and he arrived safely.

All that for a Pooh Bear.

I hope you are reunited with your IPad. Our tale of Apple woe, is from a plane not a ship, and we were never reunited.

This gives me hope!! I found this thread through a "lost item" search .We got off the Legend on Tuesday, when we got home we realized that we left my son's stuffed animal in the cabin. I filed a report right away. Now we wait and hope for a happy ending .

  4. I was just on the Legend 6/5-12, Elegant night was Night 2 (sea day) and Night 6 (Ketchikan). I'm pretty sure there were PG comedy shows every night there were R rated shows which was pretty much every night except one in the middle and the last night.

Thank you!! Hope you had a great time!

  5. twetty27, it worked out great. I received physical gift cards in the mail within a few days via Fed Ex and used them to pre purchase the in room vodka bottle and used the rest on Cruise Cash and Fun Shop orders. Experienced absolutely no issues and the cards arrived quickly in the mail.

Nothing against Cheers, but for me personally I found out on that sailing that it was far more cost effective for me to get the in room bottle....of which I still had half left at the end of my 4 day sailing and brought home with me, so Cheers definitely wouldn't have been worth it for me and I saved about $120.

    Thanks!

  6. That's perfect as I have 4 weeks till the sailing. It's just weird that after clicking "Cancel Order", Carnival gives absolutely no confirmation of it through e mail or in your Cruise Manager. That's why I was like "Oh no, what did I do?!"

When the new card comes I can just bring it to Guest Services during sailing and have it all loaded as OBC?

cfr70 - How did this work out for you? I am thinking about canceling my Cheers and I also used gift cards when I purchased it.

  7. was on the Legend. No mini fridge in my room. needed ice for my insulin. stewart brought me ice twice a day (would have done oftener if I asked). but if it was all melted when I got up in the morning I would grab a bag full of ice from the water and ice machine in the buffet. had a ziplock to carry stuff in my luggage . bring along a bag and you should be fine.

Thank you! We have an ocean suite booked and from what I recall seeing it have a mini-fridge. Either way at least I can get my hands on ice. Don't need it for medicine like you just like me drinks very cold.

  8. Odd questions. I know the rooms have mini-fridge (new from my last cruse 16 years ago), which I plan to utilize so I have cold water and sodas however I still want my beverages over ice. Can I get ice brought to my room, or is there ice machines you can access? I have seen posts about bringing a cooler and assume ice is an option but wanted to check.

Thanks for any information you can provide.
