  1. Will post a map tomorrow. Please note that in Moorea Wind Spirit can use either Cook's Bay or Oponuhu Bay.

Thanks!! Do you remember what time you were able to get off the ship in Bora Bora? We wanted to book a trip but pick up is 9 am which is the time the ship supposedly disembarks.

  2. Can anyone tell me how late the tender boats run to and from Vaitape on the first night the Wind Spirit is anchored at Bora Bora? Would it be possible to have dinner somewhere on the island and get a tender back to the ship afteward? Since this is the one place the ship stays for two days, I would imagine they don't force you to return to the ship by 5:00pm, but. . .??

Going on the wind spirit in November and was wondering if you had the answer to your above question? Did you take any Excursions on Bora Bora? We were looking at one on the first day but it says we dock at 9 and the tour starts at 9. How fast were you able to get on island?

    Thanks.

  3. Hi JaniLuvs2Travel

LOL yes there is surfing in NJ. Not sure I want to take on 30+ waves. I surf a Longboard, 9'1" , and I like 3-5 footers. I saw his ride...yikes!...not for me!

I will look into the ATV...not fan of jet skis. I have been on them before and did not find them all that much fun but that is just me.

Thanks for the input. See you on board :)

Since you surf did anyone standup Paddleboard?

  4. The Wind Spirit docks at just 2 of the 6 ports on the Dreams of Tahiti cruise: Papeete (departure & arrival port) and Raiatea. They drop anchor in the lagoon at the other 4 islands: Moorea, Taha'a, Bora Bora (2 nights) and Huahine. I think the bigger question is how well you'll handle the stairs onboard (there are no elevators) as well as getting on and off all the boats you'll be taking on the snorkeling excursions (because the lagoons really are the top attraction in French Polynesia).

Can you tell me where the ship anchors while in Bora Bora or Moorea?? We are bringing our inflatable Paddleboards and trying to plan our paddle.

  5. Hi, we set sail next week!! We have the airfare, pre-cruise hotel and post-cruise day room package with transfers. Can anyone tell us a little more specifically how the transfers work? I assume that there will be someone at the airport when we arrive with a sign -- what about the next day transport to the ship -- when does that leave the resort and how will this be communicated to us?

    Thanks!

I'm so excited to hear all about your cruise. We leave November 2 and have so many questions. When you return will you let me know how your pick up from the airport to the hotel went and what time you had to leave for your return flight.

Any info on tours you liked would also be awesome!
