Alaska was never somewhere that I personally wanted to visit, but after going on a cruise there with my family I say it's soooo worth it. The scenery is gorgeous, especially going through Endicott Arm, and I would go again in a heartbeat. I'll admit, living in Seattle definitely made transportation a lot easier and cheaper, but there's no other place quite like it.
