We are also on a Diamond cruise and the board is very very quiet. We did get a couple of small groups for 2 excursions but will also be doing ship excursions. I expect that Americans are in small numbers

I think Australians are in even smaller numbers. Looking forward to a meet and greet so hopefully one will be published

I am really bewildered that there has not been any conversations re private excursions on July 19 cruise from Yokohama. Has everyone decided to shore excursions via the ship. The only reason I ask is because when we were on Sapphire Princess in February we went on private excursions with like minded people.

Embarrassing to tell my story but it’s kind of funny. Went to dinner last night of cruise, came back later (champagne may have been involved) and determined I didn’t need the clothes I was wearing or the ones that were sitting out. Wore my jammies to bed and realized when I woke the next day that was all I had left to wear off the ship. Clothes were gone. Wore my jammies to LAX and changed there. Needless to say I am ultra paranoid that I have my clothes out and a backup option so I don’t experience that again!

I always carry our luggage off the ship with us. That way you don’t have to look for your luggage. It’s so much better. I experienced someone taking my case when we flew to Brunei on our way to the Philippines. Luckily the airport was able to track it down and they returned my suitcase

UK Princess cruiser and feeling pretty miffed at the moment. Just seen our 2018 Sapphire Cruise is on special offer which could potentially save us £600. Excellent. Phoned up. No way of changing without cancelling and rebooking thus losing deposit and FCC OBC. And yet US cruisers seemingly can reprice as much as they like. They also get much better offers from the outset. What a joke. It’s about time Princess upped their game and became more competitive in the UK.

Hi Geoff if you think UK is bad try living in Australia. We can’t get cheap deals even if we book from a Mediterranean cruise. It is a disgrace

Carry hand sanitizer with you at all times. Never go to the buffet to eat. We always eat at the restaurant. When you cough you need to cough into your elbow not your hands. I know this is common knowledge but I see it all the time. Good luck with your cruise and stay healthy. Norivirus is not great.

My passport expires in December and I'm booked for a November cruise. I didn't see any reason to rush the renewal since we'll be on a closed loop cruise departing from Miami. My wife suggested I double check so I thought I'd throw the question out to you all. Thanks in advance!

I was always told that you should always renew my passport six months before expiry. Good luck

That is a scary thought

I don't worry about drink package just order what I feel like. Mostly water is fine for me. I don't want to put in too much weight

I never buy the drinks package as I would never drink that much. I have a 2 for one at 1500 and a glass of wine for dinner. If you are platinum you can go to deck 17 between 1700 and 1900 for cheaper drinks and nice cheese and biscuits etc.

As for the stupid plebiscite we have voted for what it's worth

I am an Aussie and I never buy the package. I would be off my head. What a waste of money
