That
41 minutes ago, WildWanderers said:Hi @GeroWA, @rbtan and @1985rz1,
If I were you...I would make up big, very visible tags that indicate the name of the ship (in case the port is boarding more than one ship), the room number and your names. You could have this as a back-up in the event that they could not prepare tags for you on the spot. I would check with staff at the port that they believed your homemade tags would do the trick. The only thing missing on your tags would be the coloured trim to indicate the type of room. I think penthouse is gold and concierge level is silver - but the room number should suffice.
Hoping that something here helps,
Cheers,
Greg of the WildWanderers.
That sounds like good advice - many thanks.

We are sailing on Oceania Rivera in 18 days time - we have our Boarding Passes BUT no luggage tags.
There is no mention on the website about these being issued - can anyone advise how to get them or do we pick up at Port?
TIA

You said "Circular Quay" we are sailing aboard Adventure in in May and depart from White Bay - best to check your itinerary.

I would be concerned about the Cruise going ahead as planned to New Caledonia seeing that they have just suffered 2 tropical cyclones that have hit the communities badly. You might want to check with Carnival to confirm one way or the other

Eat in the buffet or get the food from the buffet on trays and bring it to your balcony. Their is all kind of stuff to make sandwiches.
I agree with the Buffet idea - you could even take Pizza for the kids up to your suite

We visited Costa Maya (Mahahual) in 2018, we walked the beach strip and ended up choosing Tropicante Ameri-Mex Grill for our lunch and afternoon relaxation - It was fantastic, the staff really looked after us and when it was time to go they escorted us to a taxi to make sure he new where to take us. Fist class service - totally recommend!

What the O/P is asking is what Airport do you think NCL Air will be using for arrival into Italy.
I would suggest it is Marco Polo Airport - Venice, however you really should confirm this with NCL Air.
-
You also have the option of P&O Australia - i can't recommend them as I haven't sailed with them yet but are doing 10 night cruise to Fiji/Vanuatu etc in May '23 on Pacific Adventure.
Just a suggestion.

Thanks Mikiejag for your question - We are on the cruise the week before you and was also wondering what tours we should take. I think ggTexasGal has answered all my queries - thank you TxG

We regularly use this Website and find them to be very reliable and easy to use.

Received an Upgrade Offer from NCL today, decided to ignore it as I have heard many stories of these upgrades costing way over the original cost. Besides if I wanted an upgraded cabin I would have bought it at the time of booking.

We sailed from Sydney in November on Celebrity Eclipse which circumnavigated NZ on a 12 Day itinerary finishing back in Sydney - had a great time. You can spend time in Sydney either Pre or Post Cruise
-
Try logging in to your NCL Account and look up your relevant cruise then click on "Explore & Plan"
My page shows as 32 Shore Excursions available for the same cruise ie May 29th

We cruised with Celebrity Eclipse in September on a re-location cruise from Hawaii to Sydney. It was a 16 day cruise with just 4 ports of call - Bora Bora being one of them. We had a most enjoyable and relaxing time. Celebrity also do the reverse cruise in ?March

We will be cruising the Eastern Caribbean in May and was wondering what currency should we take - US Dollars or Local currency or will we be able to get by using our C/Cards?
Any advice would be appreciated.

We will aboard Pacific Adventure on a cruise which includes New Caledonia & Fiji - What currency will I need? ie US Dollars, AU Dollars or Local money or can we get by with just our C/Cards?
Any advice would be much appreciated

Credit Cards are accepted almost everywhere for almost everything so you won't have any worries using them..

This doesn't really happen. Do you really monitor what your neighbors are and are not eating? That doesn't sound like a lot of fun (for a normal person).
We don't there and monitor per se BUT when you see people walking back to their tables with plates piled up you can't help but wonder are they going to eat all that?

I don’t know if I’ll be disappointed. Just love seeing what different people come up with.
We like seeing people pile their plates up with whatever they can fit on the plate AND the leaving half of it because they were so greedy they didn't want to miss out on anything!! - PIGS

Keep an eye out for Prawns (Shrimp) - they usually have these available once a cruise - absolutely delicious. Likewise, at breakfast, look for smoked Salmon - YUM!!

I have a Power plug adapter that also includes USB connector points.
Comes in very handy.

Some people travel in groups. Many groups have door decoration contests as part of the program. Some also have matching t-shirts, private parties, group slot pulls, etc.
Some people just look for things to grouch about.
