I wasnt sure how it would work as you use your drinks package on day 1 and pay for the amount of days of the cruise which does not include disembarkation day.

On your last day can you still use your drinks package. I am presuming not as you pay per day?

Friends of mine were on the 22night Southampton to St Lucia. They just had an email saying that the cruise was now cancelled. They call and rebooked for the 15 night Southampton to Barbados. The Birmingham flights are cancelled and they were offered either London Heathrow or Manchester.

I requested the refund as the amount for the cruise was over £5000, the refund came back in 3 parts, well 4 if you include the cheque. If they chase me for the money. I am happy to pay it back due to their error. However there is no chance that I am wasting anymore time calling p&o after calling them so many times over the last 6 months and their “customer service” staff being next to useless. 

I’m not going to loose sleep over it we are not talking about £1000’s here. 

If they ask for it back I will pay it back.

Well I have already put it in my bank. If P&O chase it then I will refund them back in 6 months. 

Another suprise today all outstanding amounts have now been credited. Have also received a refund twice one credited to the bank and the same amount by cheque. 

Very surprised today. I have received my refund for the transatlantic in October which was cancelled 4 weeks ago. Just waiting for the refund for the cruise cancelled in March!!

There may be some historical refunds which are still causing issues but new refunds should meet the legal requirements.

My cruise got cancelled on Tuesday and I filled out the form for a full refund as part of it was cruise credit part cash. Had an email yesterday saying my refund will be issues within 14 days. I won’t be holding my breath!!

I read a couple of comments on here about an announcement on Tuesday at 10am. Is this happening?

My transpacific cruise from Sydney to Hawaii was cancelled on 23/3 and I requested a full refund the same day. I called on 10/4 and they said I would receive the money back before 23/3. I called again on 20/4 and they say the refund will now be on on 7/5. I know they have a lot of refunds to get through but I am still getting impatient as it’s £23300. 

Has anyone heard if R004 is cancelled due to depart next Monday. I imagine it will be but nothing on p&o  website.

We are pm the transpacific coming in on Solstice in May. I just wish that they would make the decision so then I can book something else.

No wonder I cant find a cruise if people are booking "placeholders"

Celebrity UK seem to have been doing this for ages as my booking with them has always been today and I sail on the 25th April. 

This really confuses me. Up until last week I was in a Aqua cabin and when I booked it got Free standard drinks package, free gratuities and $200 obc. Last week I upgraded to a Penthouse suite, as Im in a suite I get a premium drinks package anyway. However with that. They are currently offering $1000 Obc but i have been told i only get the $200 that i got when i originally booked.

I went on Royal Caribbean and they provided cups. You didnt have to use them unless you went to one of the automated machines. I think mine were still in the wrapping when i got home.

I do have a couple of other questions if anybody doesn’t mind helping me out.

i have read on here that I get unlimited laundry. Is that correct?

also I keep reading about the retreat. What is it and Is that something that is on the newer ships/refurbed ships as I’m on solstice and it doesn’t get its refurb until next year?

Well this is the question that I have.  If you are going to book a suite then why not skip the suite and book a room on a luxury line?  You have better itineraries and a better experience all around.  They can get into the smaller ports and they are not as crowded.
