  1. Guilty of being judgemental...LOL but I understand if you've never cruised, you wouldn't know BUT someone shoud have clued her in before now... Hope it works out!

I have never cruised before but I have all my papers in order. I leave in 129 days. I agree she should have checked this out.

If she was born in the port city maybe she can run to the court house when they open and get one. Here I can get a BC the same day.

  2. What is Swagbucks?? I read it is a reward program but have never heard of it. Please tell me more about it please.

You do surveys, watch videos and shop through their links. You get Swagbucks and can cash out for paypal, gift cards starting at $5. You you make your daily goals for a month you get bonus points. I have been using this for years. I have paid about $70 of my cruise with this. I cash out for either Visa cards or Amazon.

You can use the link before to join.

  3. What a pain. Our insurance requires us to use mail order which means we get 90 days worth at a time and they are all in big bottles (even tiny pills.) That's going to take up a LOT of room in my carry-on bag.

Contact your mail order. They can provide you with a smaller bottle with a label for you. I am a Pharmacy Tech and we do this all the time for people.

You should always carry any meds in a bottle with a prescription label when outside of your home.

  4. Good for you, OP! Always nice to get a lower fare! I use the price protection form and usually get a confirmation within 2 hours or so. We have a spa balcony on the Horizon, and that fare has come down over $320/pp.

With that form is it automatically applied if a cheaper rate comes out? Or do I keep checking

Keep them coming. I am sure my $200 for Shopping is high. I do plan on bringing home cigars and rum from Cuba.

  6. Here is my budget that I have in my planner. I don't have amounts per se on everything, so if you have a dollar amount please give. If you feel I have missed something please let me know. I have not planned a vacation since 2005. And I have never cruised before.

  7. Leaving from Tampa Fl.

Booked La Quinta on East Fowler Ave

    Cruise is Carnavial 09/05/2018

I am not cruising until Sept. 5th of 2018. Is it crazy that I just booked a room for the night before the cruise. I found a good deal for 100.00 a night not far from Port. It's the La Quinta Inn. It is refundable and being split between 2 people. Any advice or should I cancel and wait? I am just trying to get as much done as cheap as possible. TIA for all the advice.

  8. I am restarting today. Although I have no idea what I weigh. I need to buy a new scale. So after work today I am going to head to Target and get one. I cruise in 333 days. I need to really lose about 100 pounds. But just going with the be smaller by the cruise. I ordered some clothes from Old Navy that may end up being way to big by the cruise. But I think the dresses will work even being baggy. We will see.

  9. I made the decision to book a 2018 Cruise to Cuba. I have always wanted to go and hope it's still open to the USA in 2018.

I figured out the money part and now to save an pay for the trip.

I will be going end of October to celebrate my 51st Birthday. I am going Solo since no one wants to leave the USA.

    I am pretty excited...
