  1. I know some people will not be happy that the Dawn is still set to sail from San Juan, but I am not one of those people. I am very happy with the hard work the people at NCL have done securing new ports for us to visit to replace the three we will miss. I hope the people of Puerto Rico are well and their recovery comes quicker than some of the media are forecasting. We will be there to bring you some of our tourist dollars in December and hopefully assist you that way in your recovery.

Oh, and by the way, below is the new itinerary some of you may want to jump on since there are a few islands the main cruise lines do not always visit that the ten day 2017 New Year cruise on the Dawn will be porting in - just added...St. Croix, St. Vincent, and the Grenada.

    Revised

San Juan, Puerto Rico --- 9:00 pm

    At Sea

    St. George's, Grenada --- 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

    Kingstown, St. Vincent & the Grenadines --- 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

    Bridgetown, Barbados --- 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

    Castries, St. Lucia --- 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

    Fort-de-france, Martinique --- 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

    Basseterre, Saint Kitts - Nevis --- 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

    St. John's, Antigua --- 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

    St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands --- 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

San Juan, Puerto Rico --- 7:00 am

Hello had to cxl our last cruise and was looking to book on this the itinerary you got looks great question is ncl.com has st Vincent as 5pm to 8 am is that a typo because yours says 8 to 5

  2. one reason i'm so aggravated is that Florida sailings, most, have been notified of itinerary change to Western. Even through DECEMBER, and this ONE ship out of PR, isn't getting "jack" yet. I was emailed over two and half weeks ago by agent ports are changing from St. T. and St. Maart. , duh, no kidding, but have gotten nothing else. Agent can't get them to tell her a thing either. Perhaps other lines have taken spaces for imbarkation ports in Fla. and NCL is having issues finding one. IF So, please just refund, cancel, or allow us to rebook. I'm NOT being unreasonable. The ships and ports are there to sail to at some point. I have a deadline with airline to rebook or loose our fare......

Completely agree they just don't care I call them everyday and they just give you the same ****. It is ridicoulous that they have one ship leaving there and can't make a decision

  3. Yet another day and more devistation in San Juan. I shake my head everyday on how any cruise ship will have a cruise depart from there before year end. Have until the 12th to cancel but I'm sure NCL still won't make a decision by then

  4. I had a conversation with a VP at NCL and found out this information. Since their San Juan cruises are not until the middle of November, they are still evaluating the situation. The earliest we can hear about the re-position cruise will be nid-October. My cruise is December 3rd and was told that would be a good time for us to determine if SJ is an option. Other cruise lines have cancel cruises that begin at SJPR for the month of October.

The airport is running on a limited schedule, 12 flights total are being managed. Right now there is little to no communication on how the piers have weather the storms, just a general statement that they were hit hard and not able to accept cruise ships.

In addition the hotels that are able to have customers are housing emergency support folks From the PR Tourist website is a list of hotels and their status. Most of them are not accepting reservation until the end of October.

Just yesterday, NCL posted on their site about the ability to re-book and they are flexible on getting this done. I can tell you that when I first contacted them the re-booking without cancellation fees was not offered. So they are hearing and listening to the customers request. They are being quiet and I hope they offer the same offers as other cruise lines.

My next cruise maybe on Celebrity. They have been proactive providing excellent customer service and providing updated sailing, offering refunds and discounted cruises within the next year. I believe they have done the modification to the sailing through the end of the year. I wish all the other cruise lines would provide this service. We the customer have more than just the cruise cost. There is flight, hotel, pre-cruise events that we have to manage.

NCL is a joke i am on the 11/12 out of san juan cruising with wife and 18 month old there is no way i am bringing them down to puerto rico it is just not safe. Every time you call them they give you the same BS line we are assessing the damage. I even asked to be moved over to the escape and they can keep the price difference and they say no. I have till 10/12 to cancel still with in the 75 percent penalty and then file a claim to get a credit back since i have insurance. I do not see how this or any cruise will leave from perto rico anytime soon they keep saying how safety is there top priority how do yo expect people to go down there. This is the last time i will cruise with them it is a total joke

  5. I can appreciate everyone's frustration, but put yourself on the other side and think of all the logistics required to change itineraries determine what the status of ports will be in a month and still be pleasant when you are getting hundreds of calls daily.

That is why they should waive there change policy so people don't have to go through this. I asked to be place on the escape which leave the day before from Miami but they just say no and thanks for sailing NCL real shame how they are treating customers

  6. Razor 7....I have called NCL three times getting the same song and dance. I Posted the ? bc RCCL IS Sailing this Wednesday, turmoil or not. Since cruise lines loose big revenue i expect a SJ sailing, turmoil or not , the way Carnival and RCCL is continuing out of SJ. Common sense should be used and hopefully the lines will reschedule from another port but hopefully not at the last minute so 5000 don't have to go scrambling to rebook air, cancel hotels. I DO realize that is minor to what the people are suffering in the islands. NCL has ONE ship out of SJ now..you'd think by now the passengers would be contacted since they have our paid fare in their bank. Nope and NCL operators not know more that we do......

I'm in the same boat everyone you call has no clue they have your money and they don't care bad business will never sail on them again

  7. Puzzled why you are asking such an important question here on an open forum instead of going direct with NCL to get the definitive answer. Any answer you receive here will be speculative at best.

NCL does not answer any questions that can't make a decision they read you the same b.s. that is on their website they have your money and they don't care if Puerto Rico is destroyed they won't tell anyone till a week before the cruise what they are doing so that way it is to late for anyone to cancel

  8. I wasnt able to access the port site either. Can someone update the Dawn sailing on December 3rd? Im sure St Marteen and St Thomas are out but dont know the substitutions. Would like to find out before I send money.

Don't send money cancel while you can I'm stuck in the dawn on 11/12 out of San Juan and they won't even let me switch to the escape. NCL is expecting people to go down to Puerto Rico when people are trying to escape there. They can't make any decisions on this cruise it is a joke cancel while you can
