I would love to take a European cruise, especially seeing Italy and Ephesus. Spain would be nice; France not so much. Price matters, but so does comfort and amenities.  There are so many cruise lines from which to choose that I'm not sure where to begin.  Looking for advice and recommendations. Thanks in advance!

Two in our group had two boosters. They both got Covid. 

My husband and I just returned from our dream cruise to Alaska on the Celebrity Solstice. We met up with two other family member couples. The three couples flew in from three different US locations on three different airlines. The day after our cruise ended, all six of us tested positive for COVID. That was bad enough, but it got worse. In 2020, a Celebrity cruise for ten of us was canceled. We used a future cruise credit to book a Caribbean cruise in January, 2023. After getting sick last week, we decided we do not want to go on another cruise. One member of our group is 88 years old, and does not feel safe on ships any more. We told Celebrity that we do not want to cruise again. They basically told us, "tough luck," you agreed to our policies when you purchased your cruise in 2020. We have had four great cruises on Celebrity, but I have a very low opinion of them right now. 

We are booked for Alaska in August. We were planning to do the White Pass rail excursion. But then we saw one that combines the rail trip with a crossover into BC for a hike and suspension bridge. I like the sound of the combo tour, but I want to make sure we get a good, scenic ride on the railway. Any advice from those who have done one or the other, or both? 

We're booked for Alaska on Celebrity in August, 2021. We originally planned on just riding the train. But now my husband is thinking he'd like to do a combo tour with the train and a crossing into BC to hike and cross a suspension bridge.  Has anyone done such a combo tour? I'm wondering if we'll see enough scenery on the rail part of the tour. I plan to contact Celebrity, but it takes a while for them to get back to you with specific info. Thanks in advance!

Thank you. Yes, we are booking directly through Celebrity. We're thinking if the cruise is canceled, we'll have a better chance of getting our money back!

If the planets align before May, I am going on my first Alaska cruise! I have already booked excursions for Ketchikan and Victoria. I am torn between two in Skagway. Actually I would like to do both since we are in port all day. I'm looking for first-hand experience with these two excursions, and whether it's possible to do both in one day. The two choices are a To the Summit drive that is 90 minutes, and an Alaska sled dogs and mushers camp that is 3 hours and 15 minutes. I have no idea how far apart these are, and if I could get from one to the other. We are in port from 7 AM to 6 PM. Thanks to anyone who has info for me!

Has anyone stayed at the Hotel Cervantes in Old San Juan post-hurricane? We have a reservation for January 5, which has been confirmed by Booking.com. However, we are unable to communicate with the hotel. Emails have not been answered, and their phone is not working. Booking.com tells us the hotel is open for business, but we're not so sure. I have not seen it on any lists of open/closed hotels. Possible because it is quite small. Any useful information would be greatly appreciated!
