I just want to add that we did the Southern Caribbean on the Jewel in January and loved it. It was our first cruise and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. We would cruise again on Jewel in a heartbeat.

Newbie cruiser here. Taking the Jewel in 18 days (yay!). Is there an extra charge for the thermal suite and saunas?

I was tired of the whole "will they cancel my reservation game" and booked a petit suite at the O:live boutique hotel in Condado. I just spoke to someone tonight who said my reservation is good and will not be cancelled. Now I can take a breath....

We had a reservation at Sheraton OSJ for November 17, everyone I spoke to told me that our reservation was still ok, but I spoke to someone at the actual hotel 2 days ago who told me that all reservations are cancelled until January.

What number did you use to contact the actual hotel? The number I found was routed to a general reservation call center.

Hopefully you have a back up plan! They cancelled our Jan 6-8 reservations-just fyi

Oh my! I think I'll start making plans B, C, and D. Worst case scenario we also have air tickets for embarkation day that would have us arrive at about 3pm because I didn't know about arriving a day ahead and by the time I figured it out it was too late to cancel or change so we just bought an extra set of tickets.

Going (hopefully) on Jewel on January 14th out of San Juan for my first ever cruise. I finally booked one and then weather craziness happened. I'm really hoping that by then the port, airport, and our hotel Sharaton Old San Juan will be up and running.
