Good morning, Just about to join Radiance of the Seas for a x4 back to back epic trip that turns us in to Diamond Plus. We are travelling, joining Radiance again in Jan them joining Voyager in March. 227 days away from hope. RCI are aware and interested but we are just blogging to inspire other. Recently been to South America on Celebrity. Our first Celebrity cruise but 18th cruise in total.

I think you are right. We are about to be Diamon plus on RC and this was our first celebrity. It was relaxed, nice,staff and a good atmosphere. RC is certainly more active but at this time im not sure which is best. Infinity certainly is a dated ship.:)

Recently tried Celebrity Infinity in South America. I have attached a few links to show the ship to any first timers. Nice ship but a little dated.

Just in South America. Taxi was $25 we confirmed the price before getting in. This was to the centre.

Very easy just exit arrivals and we went outside to the black and yellow taxis just over the road on the left.

This is the port area. Celebrity gave a free shuttle.

We are looking for recommendations for tour companies based in Manta from folks who have been there recently. Our hope is to organize something either for ourselves or a very small group to explore the nearby rain forest or to go to Isla de la Plata or some other good place for bird watching in particular. Our ship will be there in mid-October.

Very easy way to save euros with the shuttle every 5-10 minutes to Barcelona from Barcelona Airport. Video shows Airport arrival / departure. Main stop is Playa de Catalunya in the centre but there are others.
