We haven’t boarded as yet (not till Jan 8th) so I assume to early to reach out to the concierge. We booked early as well but our group has grown from 2 to 8 people since then and some of the group have had dining booking issues so we’ll just figure it out once we board.
Thanks for the suggestion about using the concierge. We’ve never had concierge but makes sense they can help figure this out for us
I had a concierge who handled my booking related concerns after I booked but before I boarded.
Enjoy your cruise - -

Thanks. It appears that due to only being 19 days from sailing, the earliest select dining time available is 8:30pm which is way too late.
We understand that it’s likely there’s only limited spots to book in advance of the cruise and more opening up when we board. Crossing my fingers
We reserved our open dining times - is that what they are referring to as Select nowadays? I’m so old and have been
cruising for years - can’t keep
the name changes straight.
I do my reservations online very early as we like the early dining times also.
Do you happen to have a personal concierge assigned to you or your group by celebrity? I would reach out to them. Otherwise- make your first stop onboard the dining room- good luck and happy journey -
Thanks I can find info on Switzerland and Italian Lakes but the article is old
Ill check it out further

I am unfamiliar with Princess except I know they used to have some great cruise tour or multi day excursions offered.
Do they still offer an excursion to the Italian Lakes and Switzerland?
Thanks for any help -

Thanks for sharing your experience and advice. And believe me, we have been encouraging our friends to do Blu at least once since they paid for it. We’ll see if they do that or not.Question about switching back and forth. Did you do that on a whim each night or did you prearrange it on the first day on which nights you were dining in MDR?
Since there are 8 of us with Select Dining and not wanting to eat late, we would like to secure a reservation for each night once we board the ship
You can reserve your MDR time slots online You don’t have to wait till you are onboard

You don’t have to use BLU if you’re in Aqua - we were just in Aqua in June - we used open seating and I reserved those time slots ahead of time online

There is a board here for questions like this. It is Florida Departures, under North American Homeports.
Thanks - since I use this site infrequently I am not familiar with the options

Thanks everyone- not a fan of Uber - personal preference

We are cruising on Summit out of Miami returning April 1, 2024 then staying at a hotel in Fort Lauderdale until April 4 when we cruise again.
Can anyone recommend transportation options for me to explore to get us from Miami Cruise port to our hotel in Fort Lauderdale. No Uber or light rail etc. we are in our mid 70s and not particularly agile.
Thanks -
Just a basic inquiry- any idea of the table minimums?

Haven’t cruised since pre-Covid but I can’t imagine they have removed the mini fridges because they stock them with beverages for purchase

I originally paid my cruise deposit in mid-December, 2022. I don’t have trip insurance yet, so I assume I can’t insure any future flights or hotels associated with this cruise that are purchased in the future, correct?
I use the online broker insure my trip dot com. You can normally insure everything at once cruise, hotel, air, etc and virtually up till the day of travel. You can also add to your insurance if you add items to your trip. The booking date, in my experience anyhow, normally only impacts things like cancel for preexisting conditions.
So, I’m not clear why you are saying you can’t insure future flights, etc Even if you already purchased your insurance or need to change anything like dates you just notify the insurers and if necessary they reprice and either charge you the difference or refund the difference. You can even move insurance to a different trip sometimes - I won’t bog you down with details.

Am thinking of buying some for cruise in June so wanted to check

Just wondering - do they still hide rubber ducks on cruises?

I got the e-mail, clicked on the link, and it said nothing about Covid. Perhaps at some point, Celebrity will see fit to release all the new terms and conditions. I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.
You have to go to a link in the email snd select your country of residence. Then you get very lengthy terms and conditions

When I use flights by Celebrity I normally choose the exact flights, airline, etc that I want to book before I contact them. Normally the price mirrors the price I would get booking directly with the airline. When I use FBC it’s usually because of their guarantee of getting you to the ship and also because I don’t have to pay until final cruise payment.

Been sailing Celebrity several times a year for a very long time - until Covid. Heading back out soon -
At any rate, we avoid some itineraries based on the time of year - like the Caribbean during Spring Break -
Don’t think Iceland and Greenland cruises for example attack the same demographics

Select dining in MDR is free- I just reserved our times for our upcoming cruise and didn’t have to check any box.

If I recall you use the promo chips at the tables but when you win they pay you in “regular” casino chips not promotional chips. So just use the promo chips and cash in the casino chips.
Same with slots- they load the promo money onto your sea card and you download whatever you want to put intothat machine- I suggest only downloading $10 or $20 at a time in case you don’t like the machine cause once it’s downloaded to a specific machine you have to play it out on that machine. If you like the machine press the button and get the ticket for your winning and download some more of your promo money into the machine.
Anyhow, normally the machines track your promo balance (maybe not cruise ship machines but in “regular casinos” they do) which is normally not the same as your total balance which is hopefully higher. You can cash out of the machine and get a ticket for any winnings over and above the promo money. Just keep collecting your winnings not using them. Use up the promo money first.

“What Free Non Alcoholic Dinks Are Available On Celebrity Cruises? Tea, coffee, fruit punch, lemonade, juice and still water are all free in the buffet restaurants 24 hours a day. You will also get water on your table during dinner.Jan 23, 2023”

Last I was on (a while ago due to Covid) the buffet area had tea, coffee, juices, etc available when it was open and the service was also available outside of the doors on the pool deck the few hours the buffet area was closed.

Is Celebrity still using e-muster drills and if so, what is the process?
Do Elites get additional minutes of premium wifi on the 2nd leg of a b2b?

We frequently do B2Bs and it is correct that each cruise is treated as an individual cruise. Just as you are billed in full for all charges at the end of each cruise, perks, OBC are closed and zeroed out at the end of each cruise. And the next cruise gets their own applicable perks and OBC and you run a brand new credit card tab for expenses.
