I would call Celebrity or your TA and inquire. We have booked a suite on the Edge and our daughter is in the adjoining inside room.
Edge has a suite that has adjoining inside room? How does that work?

hi. My name is Sheila and I’m going on the Equinox on December 9th. I was wondering if anyone has gone to Puerto Rico or knows anyone who has gone to Puerto Rico since the storm and if it’s worth taking any of the excursions, same with Saint Thomas is it worth getting off the ship? Is there anything left worth seeing?
We are on the Summit now. Stayed in San Juan for 2 days before the cruise at the La Concha. It was amazing. We walked 2 blocks to the CVS and it was fully stocked for last minute items.
We ate breakfast at a restaurant on the same block. It was packed with locals and offered really good food.
The airport was a breeze. We got in late but it was clean and well-run. No damage that I saw. There were no taxis in the taxi queue but the taxi guy summoned one and it was there in less than a minute.

Every cruise ship has a brig (holding cell). Bigger ones may have more than one.
People don't like to think of these things, but they also have a fully equipped operating room and a morgue! :eek:
So they have a surgeon on every cruise?

Might do that if PR conditions don't improve...but if I do it will be a last minute cancel so the clown$ can't double book the cabin.
Still think they are going to have to do something with this %&$# mess eh?..the clown$ are getting absolutely slammed on social media facebook, etc from the first bunch to take the summit out of PR in a few weeks. Massive # of people with no hotel rooms now and canceled flights they cant rebook.
I'm on that cruise and follow the SM page closely. One person has canceled their cruise. Several Canadians have had flights canceled and they are re-booking. No slamming that I've seen.

We have booked Casablanca hotel in San Juan for Nov 2nd and Nov 3rd, and sail on Celebrity Summit on the 4th, the hotel said they are opened but they didn't tell me about the condition of the hotel. Is there anyone booked there and know the condition of the hotel? Can we still tour the Old Town? Is it safe to walk around? Please advise!
We'll be on the Summit on the 4th also. I've heard that our hotel is up and running but have not gotten info on Old Town. I'll be watching what shows up here.

DW and I went with Calabaza three years ago. It was the best excursion ever. They really make you feel like you are in the lap of luxury. And they take lots of pictures and post them. They took one of my DW and I lounging in the stern that I blew up and framed, and have hanging in our family room. A specially wonderful memory now that my wife has passed away.
What a sweet memory. It brought a tear to my eye. So sorry for your loss.

Oh no!! We have a prepaid reservation at the Hampton Inn Isla Verde for 11/9-11/11. I didn't receive a cancellation email. I spoke with someone from Hilton last week that told me I still had my reservation!
I read today that all the Isla Verde hotels remained closed. We had a booking at the Courtyard Isla Verde and it was cancelled last night by the hotel.

That list is highly unreliable. We know of someone that had reservations at one of those hotels and verified the booking 48 hours in advance. When they arrived the hotel was closed. The list shows the Isla Verde being open for reservations after 10/2. They are not open for reservations today 10/9 as per Marriott.com. They canceled our reservation for 11/2 and stated that they would likely not accept guests until after New Years.

We're in a RS right now and we're told there are no laundry perks. We were directed to use the per item charge tag and attach it to the laundry bag. I thought there would be some kind of perk with being in RS.
