Not sure what an adequate process/procedure would be to minimize the risk of having an infected passenger board the ship, I guess I’m just looking for some reassurance that all reasonable measures are being taken. While I know it’d be time consuming and costly, I’d be a fan of screening everyone prior to boarding.
     

    I hadn’t considered how much of this relies on the due diligence of port employees, hopefully they‘ll receive increased training if necessary.

    How else can they even try to determine if you had contact with a person who visited China?

    They probably can check your passport to see if YOU have been there.

    I don't see what else can be done to check your contacts.

    So... yes, I believe they are doing all they can.

  3. Has anyone recently sailed on a Celebrity cruise since the tighter screening requirements have been in place? Did you feel that the cruise line did an adequate job or is it basically relying on passengers self reporting potential contact with someone who recently visited China? Thanks!
