I have no idea if it's a coincidence or not but the Star has gone to Bar every other week for the past six weeks or so.
hopefully next week I get to see Kotor.....

September (first Sunday of September): Regata Storica (Historical regatta). This annual boat race, a test of the gondolieri's mettle, takes place on the Grand Canal. Boats are decorated, spirits run high and the competition is fierce.
I believe this is why the ships were late leaving...…..

The Star, departing today 9/1/2019, will be going to Bar and not Kotor

I don't think the return trip is affected....I'll be watching to see what time they arrive.
If you check the web sites of the Port Authority of Venice and Kotor, they have the arrival times logged in or in Kotor, which shops are scheduled to dock several days in advance.
I wish NCL could be a little more transparent, I don't blame them-, only would like a little more heads up info
-
the Star also will be missing Kotor today and heading to BAR. The technical issue is the Star is the last ship to leave(last night 11:30pm-Venice time), they can make to port in time.....I wish they would just call it as such

FYI-The current schedule for Star is to stop at BAR. I called NCL 2 times and they said no changes. The link shows the details by Venice Port Authorties

How was Bar? It seems like a nothing to port.
-
The port change was for the Spirit. The Star's itinerary has not changed yet.

I called to NCL today(I'm on the Star Sept. 8). It is confirmed. No Kotor and departing Venice later on in the night at 9:30 PM...………………………...

The cold plunge sold it in for me.

One question would you do the thermal spa pass for the week?
Has anyone received their refund from NCL?

We were on a cruise scheduled for June 8. We received our refunds(complete and accurate) for 4 cabins.
I am hoping NCL survives as well as many other hospitality related business.
