We are booked on a cruise March 29. My wife has a compromised immune system and so, due to the coronavirus , we are really weighing the option of just canceling this cruise  and not taking any chances.   We got the standard trip insurance through Princess which would offer a 75% credit toward a future cruise.   Of course we will wait until shortly before the cruise to make our final decision but I’m just wondering on the off chance that this thing goes sideways and princess cancels this cruise I assume we would get a 100% credit toward a future cruise? I guess this would affect how Long we wait to actually cancel our cruise.   What would you do in my situation?

I'm in your situation, we sail on the Royal Princess 3-14 from LA to the Mexican Riviera, we live in Boston. We're are veryconcerned and nervous abour what to do, for now we are watching, the Royal should be docking in LA tomorrow. It will be interesting to see if it's allowed and what people on the current cruise on the Royal have to say about their experience...

  2. I have HBP and T2 diabetic and I'll be 60 on next birthday. I'm hoping someone cancels the cruise be it Pence or Princess. I'm curious to see if the Royal is allowed to dock and what people currently on the ship have to say about their experience. It won't take much for me to pull the plug on this trip, we sail on Princess a few times a year, I can always put the credit currently being offered to use a different time once this Covid19 stuff simmer's down some. I've been looking forward to Cabo and the other 2 stops, it's the Love Boat cruise, one I've always wanted to take. I've waited this long I guess, still watching for now though...

  3. We are supposed to sail on the Royal on 3/14/20 from LA cruising the Mexican Rivera returning to LA on 3/21. We are flying to LA from Boston. We are very confused and concerned on what we should do. We are also concerned about being quarunteened if someone on the ship gets sick of something, everyone is jumpy at this point, I too won't take too being confined well. A 14 day quatunteen after the cruise and then another flying back to Boston will be strenuous on our work. Any suggestions or news especially from anyone currently on or disembarking from the Royal Princess would be greatly appreciated!

  4. Does anyone if the Swim with the Stingray excursions at Grand Cayman have handicapped acessable entry to and from the water.

I am somewhat handicapped with a really bad left foot, climbing up a boat ladder is probably not a good option for me. Zero entry like from a beach in or an angled ladder or ramp would be better choices for me.

If not possible at Grand Cayman we will also be visiting Cozumel and Jamaica, any info from those locations about the Stingray swims will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance'

    Joe
