  1. This will be our third trip to Disney. The original plan was to get my sons first haircut there in September of 2017 but when it came time he was not letting it happen. I told the wife no sense in fighting we will just come back and do it another time. So we did the end of March this year and it went fantastically. My son is hooked on Halloween so we are going to do his first trick or treat at Disney in October. Ready for another cruise. We loved Nassau and can't wait to see it again. Never been to Half Moon Cay so that's going to be great.

I do have a question, is lunch provided at Half Moon Cay?

Thinking of doing a cabana rental too.

  2. We are doing Mickeys not so Scary in October, taking our motorhome down and a first for staying at Ft Wilderness.

We had talked on doing a 7 day cruise but the wife didn't want to be gone that long. I would like to do a cruise on the Carnival Magic out of Miami before too long. That ship looks amazing.

  3. The wife and I talked about a Disney Cruise, I am an older dad with an almost 4 year old son. We agreed to do a Disney Cruise but decided to wait till he is a little older. We love Carnival and had a wonderful time on our last cruise and expect nothing but the same on this cruise.

    Happy wife = Happy life!

  4. We sailed on the Elation back in April 2018 to celebrate our daughters birthday and everyone had a wonderful time. We are getting ready to make our second trip to Disney World this year in October. My wife insisted no Disney trips next year so I just booked us on the Liberty for September of next year. We have been doing 2 short vacations a year but we decided on just one for next year. She can relax on a cruise compared to theme parks or the beach.

  5. Thanks for all the replies!!. I was going to go cheap and just bring the BC's.I then though about just getting the cards but I will more than likely just get the books. I guess it's better to have them just in case something does happen. I hope to visit Europe sometime in the near future and that would be one less thing on that checklist.

  6. We have our first cruise in April to the Bahamas on the Elation. I don't want to carry birth certificates and I don't see us doing international travel anytime soon. I have to get 4 of either the card or book so I was wondering does anyone use just the passport card on a cruise and have any issues? Should I just pay for the book and be done with it?

  7. I am loving your review and pictures! We went to Disney World in September and had an amazing time. Your pictures of Disney Spring brings back some great memories. We had some custom t-shirts made at the t-shirt shop and ate at both the T-Rex and Rain Forest. Anyone going to Disney Springs has to do the Coke challenge at the World of Coke. We have a cruise booked in April on the Elation and can't wait.

  8. Hello All !!

I booked a cruise on Elation in April to celebrate our daughters 18th birthday. We are first time cruisers and it will me myself, my wife, our daughter and our then 2 1/2 year old son. I booked a grand suite and already ordered a cake and decorations.

We went to Disney World last month and made a stop over in Daytona Beach on the way home to surprise our daughter. The motel my wife booked in Daytona did not have a crib or pack and play and my little man is not a good bed mate and loves to toss and turn all night.

So my first and probibly not last question is..Do I need to bring a pack and play for our son to sleep in or do they have something on board?

Also looking for any tips from people that have cruised with little people. I already plan on bringing an umbrella stroller to make it easier to get around the ship and ports.

    Thanks!!!
