I don't think we ever ate breakfast in the MDR.

Usually in line for Omelettes at 7 am.

My wife is also an epileptic, suffer seizures regularly, along with chronic migraines, resulting from a brain tumor and brain surgery in 2012.

We live life one day at time, enjoy today and we won't and don't worry about tomorrow!

We leave Monday from New York for an 11 day!

We are Aft Wrap only on the Vista class Ships.

LOVE them! Matter of fact our next 4 or 5 are.

We are doing the Venezia for an 11 day on Monday,we love Horizon and Vista for the Havana area "with pool".

Venezia is nice for the peace & quiet. Our second cruise on her.

Very rarely do we go out in general population 😆 during the day, just to eat basically then back out at night for dinner and entertainment.

We'll be on our aft wrap or in the Terraza area.

Doing cheers for the first time and my wife doesn't drink.

Its an 11 day cruise (10 days of cheers actually from NY) so I figured based on the spreadsheet It's a break even with Gator aides, bottles a water nice coffee and milkshakes.

Paying with the AMEX $150.00 kickback and AARP discounts I felt it was worth it.

There can definitely be pinch points at peak times, there can be line ups for comedy shows, buffets, dinners etc. it all depends how you cruise. ...eat dinner at 8 versus 630, no lines. Get to the comedy shows before 8 pm, versus the 945 show, again no problem...walk right in and get a seat. Want to lounge on deck or swim in the pools at 1pm on a sea day, good luck, you'll have plenty of company. The MDR food was decent, sometimes inconsistent in temperature. No one went hungry. We found the Lido buffet to be of poor quality from a food offering and service perspective. The understaffed Lido crew is overworked and that translates to very few smiles from them. I couldn't imagine doing that job over and again for 7 months at a time. For the price we paid, we would sail Venezia again.

Glad you had a nice cruise, we are on her for an 11 day May 6th.

We also were on her last September.

Just as you said we are early eaters, early shows so it works out just fine for us.

I purchase the 24 hour the last sea day just to check in with the airline if we flew into that port.

So yes they do as others have said.

I'd fly in to BWI and rent a car if its the day before..

If flying day of, switch flights to Norfolk.

I would love to stay in one of those cabins,Walkway would not bother me

.I love everything about them but the view.

There is a high glass to look through that I assume is there to block the wind?

I enjoy being able to go out on a balcony with unobstructed views of the ocean, lean on the rail  and stare.

This is the only reason for us, so we get an Aft Havana Cabin normally a wrap.

Go for it and enjoy!
